I don’t feel that silky won that fairly. Her character was nothing different. It was basically her own personality but with the permission to be over the top. Like, if she was telling them “girl, your wigs are a mess” or “your padding is real lumpy” or something like that, of course. But she’s literally only saying what the judges already said. It’s just that these girls wanna act like they don’t understand why they aren’t doing well when they’ve literally been told like, 5 seconds ago.

I understand not kicking someone when they’re down, but they always say shit like “I don’t know what more I could have done!” and like, I would be fucking frustrated at that too when you know they’re just being stubborn and refusing to listen.

Sometimes kindness and coddling isn’t what’s gonna actually help someone.

if she’s just reiterating what the judges are saying, why even bother saying it? if vanjie wasn’t going to listen to the judges, she sure as hell wouldn’t listen to yvie. esp since if u get a critique from a judge, it affects u differently than getting an UNWARRANTED critique from a queen who is your competition, fresh when ur still in ur feelings.

who cares if the girls don’t listen? focus on yourself and let the competition weed out. i get her frustration since she has the mentality of “suck it up, stop complaining, apply yourself, and DO BETTER”
