☯ PISCES/12H ENERGY ☯

Pisces as the most misunderstood sign in the zodiac 𓁼

After posting on other insufferable social media platforms for years, this is my first ever post here on Tumblr ~ I make observations and intuitive interpretations. Enjoy ♡

I have never read anything discussing Pisces/12H energy that actually resonates with me fully, or that doesn't just aim to reduce Pisces to being delusional and lacking awareness. As someone that has a 12H Pisces stellium with my Mercury, Moon, Mars, Saturn and Sun, I feel like Pisces is the most misunderstood sign in the entire zodiac — and this is for good reason.

Pisces is the 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 point, it sits on the threshold, end and beginning, Pisces to Aries.

This is different in the way where we see themes of transformation, death and rebirth associated to the 8H or Scorpio/Pluto. Dissolution is imminent in the 12H, it's actually a constant—"death" may be seen here as liberation from the constraints of the self and the world. Everything else falls away, all that remains is the energy of experience.

This is where people get their view on Pisces as martyrs, or view this energy as inconsistent in logic or thought. But what really happens is 𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, the transmutation of the self from the cycle. Because the journey of oneself ends here, it's not martyrdom in an escapist sense, it's freedom from the material world, and this is misinterpreted as an attempt to escape "realism." Pisces energy doesn't need to be 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 to know, to experience, to be whole.

Johfra talks about Pisces as the mystic that sinks into the 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦, referring to the modern rulership of Neptune over Pisces as God of the sea. Similar to Davison who said 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. Life came from the ocean, literally originating from the depths, and it is here that consciousness and energy return as whole, integrated, and experienced. Ready to begin another cycle in an elevated state of being.

There is also the association of Jupiter as Pisces traditional ruler, sharing rulership with Sagittarius. Here, a higher sense of purpose is instilled, vision becomes expansive, and Pisces vision of the world becomes one moved through with a 𝘴𝘪𝘹𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 ~ an understanding that there are forces behind the mundane.

The glyph of Pisces ♓️, the two fishes, the yin and yang, all covey the apparent contradiction in their experience. This is where you get the 𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘩-𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘭 assumption and contradiction. The band in their glyph acts as a bridge. Just as the fishes are tied, Pisces is the missing link. They are there to hold or disolve contradiction because they see things others miss. Logic is useless here, the language becomes spiritual, emotional, intuitive and full of symbolism.

In this way, Pisces are seen as "unrealistic," or to have ideals and visions of themselves and the word that do not make sense. But this is precisely the point. Piscean energy is intangible, and lacks substance in the way of explanation.

The 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 of Piscean existence doesn't ask for proof, or for one to show how they know something ~ there is no need for explanation in a technical sense. It is conveyed simultaneously as a return and emergence to oneself and the world.

-(with no intent to fear monger at all) BOY can a Scorpio asc lunar return give u something to cry about 😖. Ofc aspects matter (cuz I had quite a few squares to my asc) but it really makes you address anything you’ve suppressed emotionally prior to that point.

also, this asc may make you extra emotionally unstable/emotional if you happen to begin your menstrual cycle near this time. like the extremes of emotional turbulence was like any other that I’ve experienced upon beginning and during my period.

DESPITE all of those things, I learned a great deal in so facets of my life, which is a win (regardless tho I’m sooo glad that this lunar period is about to end 😭🙏🏼)

-next, and somewhat on a more positive note, any asteroids like tightly conjunct the asc (probs 0-2 degrees orb, tho I’d really pay attention to more so 0 degrees orb or 1), are certainly going to manifest in some way shape or form during the return period. more often than not, it’ll probably be a major or major-Ish event to u.

i.e., one of my years in high school (I went to a performing arts hs btw), I auditioned to see if I’d be able to get into the highest level ballet class for the following year. I ended up getting in, but it was such a shock to me bcuz I had only really began taking ballet the summer prior to the school year, which was less than like ~7 months ish (but ofc prior dance experience 5 yrs prior in other classes helped 🌚). for this particular lunar return I was in, I had asteroid Terpsichore (81) exactly conjunct my asc.

-transits over the vertex point certainly activate whatever themes of the sign and house it is in in your life like IMMEDIATELY, or at least for the following days or so of the transit (helllpp, mine is in Aquarius 😓)

-oki last point, (and this is more lady related), but I think early development within people can relate to having Saturn in the 1st house (rx or direct), especially/more so aspecting Venus…pls let me know if anyone can attest to this

is it just me or are really good dancers that are unattractive or not pretty rare 👀🤨 like I was just like chilling today and it kinda suddenly came upon me that like all the amazing dancers I have seen and have been around are pretty… it kinda reminds me of something someone mentioned on astro tumblr some time back abt how pretty women tend to marry rich people or be wealthy cuz it’s a Venusian theme (beauty, wealth) and Venus tends to be quite prominent in the charts of such women.

well, today I realized the same thing tends to apply to dancing, as dance is something Venusian in nature. it made all the more sense when I checked my chart and the charts of the ladies I know and dance with who are beautiful and also great at dancing; one of friends i mentioned in my previous post on Venus dominance has an exalted Venus and she is outstanding as a dancer and has very apparent beauty. in the other charts I checked, i commonly found domicile Venus placements, Venus in angular houses, as well as the Sun being in Venus ruled signs (tropical & vedic), along with prominent Venusian nakshatras.

- maybe it’s just me, but as someone with a domicile Venus in the 10h, I’ve found that rewards and recognition come SUPER easily to me, even when I’m not expecting it at all. at times, i even get to the point where there are others from my perspective 10x more deserving of awards and recognition than me but, somehow I still end up chosen. atp, I think this placement has something to do with that.

- my Venus also aspects my Saturn in the 1h (square), and in terms of my appearance, I’ve come to realize that this aspect really does/can translate into becoming prettier as u age. don’t get me wrong, I was never necessary hideous (as I’m sure many people with this aspect weren’t/aren’t), yet the beauty potential of someone with this aspect can truly come with age—or at least mine did 😭 ofc, everything depends on entire chart btw

to further expound, I’d say that my domicile Venus and Saturn 1h appearance really kicked in upon adolescence/puberty, when I became more mature and suddenly aware of eating habits and the importance of being fit—(which I guess also makes sense to an extent because my 1h Saturn is also retrograde, which suggests delay. it’s also in virgo 🫠)

…in all I say this to say that in terms of appearance, the typical features associated with 1h Saturn natives (stern, mature look, defined bone structure, lean body, tall stature, etc…) plus my Venus (⌛️/proportional body, doe-like facial appearance or just having a considerably pretty face, etc…) couldn’t really be seen on me until I got older now in terms of my Venus that’s also normal but I digress✋🏼

- as someone with Venus dominance, I also attract other Venus dominant/prominent people (who I end up becoming closest with)—even if we felt iffy about each other at first. for some reason it works out well 🤷🏼‍♀️

- also, now this idk whyyy, BUT, I have a domicile Venus and I have this gorgeous friend of mine with an exalted Venus—but for some odd reason we’ve both encountered relationship-related issues (heartbreak, rejection, etc) along with self image. I just find it ironic because it seems like someone with comfortable Venus placements would do well with Venusian themes…but then again, domicile and exalted placements have been explained as amplifying those themes for better or worse 👀 and aspects ofc😖
