(Disclaimer 2) What if it weren't Mondstadt's citizens who sculpted the largest Barbatos statue as widely believed, but his friend Morax? Thus,title also refers to how Morax views Barbatos as his friend. Morax certainly knows how to sculpt, since he sculpted Azhdaha.

And thus,the third meaning of the title,is how Morax made the statue to reflect the visage of both Barbatos and his best friend.

Shippiest stuff I’ve done in a while but the more we learn about childe the more I see dualities in this pair and I am a sucker for duality T T Even just aesthetically they look very pretty together *w*

Also, I almost gave up on this piece when I realized that we dont know how zhongli’s gnosis looks like. I’m assuming it’ll look different from venti’s because the current design is very much based on venti’s/mondstadt vision designs… I tried a handfull of times to design what I’d think zhongli’s gnosis would look like but alas…drawing cubes in perspective was a bitch so I stuck with this one for now… Will try not to cringe when we find out what his gnosis actually looks like…OTL
