Really love the way you draw Alex's and Clyde's dynamic.

Thankyouuu ✧⁠\⁠(⁠>w<⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠✧ Clyde's a little sh*t and far from the sadistic monster it's supposed to be in canon but the way it evolved in the Sitcom created a dynamic that I find fascinating.

On one side you have: "I'm using you as means to an end, you're the first living being I've actually tried to interact with, my nature compels me to see you as food, why are you being nice to me in the first place, I don't want to be alone again."

Meanwhile on the other side: "This creature is learning just now how to process human emotions and I'm scared shitless but fascinated nonetheless. It knows so much and yet so little. It killed people. It killed people. We're watching scary movies on the couch together."

And then Alex turns and the roles reverse, and it's Clyde's turn to be the guide. It's a weird bond that changes them, one getting slowly desensitized to violence and the other more aware of the impact it has on the world.

(now, there's always exceptions where Clyde is still its own sadistic self... looks at poor Lewis >_>)

When the new Veldigun comes around and the story starts again I think the fandom will keep them more in character, but we'll forever treasure the Weird House Cat/Accidental older sibling dynamic.

I can't believe that the second I come back Tumblr enrolls the most dogshit update in the history of the website. What is this. Making tumblr work like twitter, separating the notes of a post on EVERY REBLOG it gets so op cannot see who interacts with their stuff anymore. This is a goddamn blogging site, it's MADE for chain reblogs, for back and forth answering. It's the entire point of Tumblr's humor. What the fuck.

Tumblr implemented a feature that makes this website actively worse. I'll show you how worse.

I'll show you an example with 1 post of mine and 1 post from another OP that I reblogged.

Yesterday I made a normal post. It got reblogged a bunch of times. How many? DEPENDS if you're looking at your pc, where the update is AREADY integrated, or the app where it seems it still has to be implemented.

On my pc the reblog number is much lower than the one I see on my phone. Why you ask? because the new tumblr feature makes it so that your original post will ONLY SEE YOUR DIRECT REBLOGS. Everyone seeing your post from another user's reblog and reblogging that version will not add to your number. And even if they leave a comment or a tag for you to read, YOU WILL NOT SEE IT.

Now for some reason the reblog graphic still works on pc, and it clearly shows 14 reblogs. But from pc I'll never see them. I won't know if they added a comment or tags. If someone starts a chain of comments on a post, the OP will never see it.

How ugly is that.

This is a post I reblogged yesterday from @personajan, and as you can see, from the computer it only counts the reblogs that I GOT from My blog. They should have gone to them but now it's like I stole them from the original post!! And guess what! People farther up the reblog chain left little comments for the OP to read! I left comments for the OP to read! And they'll never see them. They'll never even know how many people liked their creation enough to re-share it. I wanted to SHARE their work, not cut the engagement of the original post in HALF.

What the actual FUCK, Tumblr.

Idk how much time until the update is enrolled on phones too, but I'm already livid. Everyone's gonna lose.

WRITE TO THE STAFF

Tumblr has a help center, tell them that you're having issues with the update: https://www.tumblr.com/support.

Tell them that it's inconvenient and ruins the platform experience (but be polite, don't give them a reason to dismiss your complaints)

Go on their twitter and their instagram and make sure they know this latest update did NOT spark joy.
