Marriage Proposal Starters Pt. 1
“(Muse Name), will you marry me?”
“I think I wanna marry you— would that be alright?”
“I want to spent the rest of my life with you.”
“I have a question for you— it’s really important.”
“Our conversation last night got me thinking—”
“I know I’ve always said marriage was a waste of time— but with you, I think it might be worth it.”
“I am so ridiculously in love with you— I can’t imagine not having you by my side for the rest of my life.”
“Sorry, I know I’m a bit of a mess right now— but this is important. Hear me out.”
“I don’t know if it’s ever gonna be the right time for this— so here goes nothing.”
“I’m better because of you. I want you to keep bettering me for the rest of our lives.”
“Hey, let’s run away together— let’s elope.”
“We’ve lived together for awhile now. What do you say we get married? It’ll make taxes and insurance easier— and maybe we can make a few pretty babies, too.”
“Hey, let’s go to dinner. Somewhere fancy. You pick, I’ll pay. I wanna talk to you about something.”
“Come sit down in front of the fire. I have something I want to ask you.”
“I think I’m gonna need another glass of wine before I do this.”
“Can you put down the book for a second? We need to talk.”
“I know we look like hell, and smell worse— but I can’t wait anymore.”
“Here, can you hold this for me?” [hands ring box to muse]
“Close your eyes and turn around.”
“Alright, I made your favorite food, poured your favorite wine, have your favorite song playing, and you look amazing. Now, I have a question for you.”
“Will you, please, consider making me the happiest person alive?”
“Last night— I asked your parents for your hand.”
“Hey—I know it’s late, but wake up. I really can’t sleep until I ask you something.”
