I do like this visual! I only have one lil addition. This will be controversial, but I'd make the argument that the Black Lives Matter Movement wasn't (unfortunately) effective enough to be considered "yellow" in league with its prior examples. I understand that it's meant to be defined as movements that pushed back against white supremacy, but imo it's still contained within the red of New Jim Crow. Ferguson and the Floyd protests in particular were yellow moments, but... not really a... Things didn't improve, is what I'm saying. They were in response to living under increasingly red conditions. There wasn't an upward swing the way people seem to think having a Black president, for example, meant. We've very much still been in the red all this time.

i was raised reliGious but that didn't pan out for several reasons and due to my upbrinGinG i try as hard as possible to avoid any lanGuaGe that may lead to someone assuminG i am reliGious. ...unfortunate that is like. the entire arabic lanGuaGe. white people cannot see arabic or arab people or the mention of an arab country without their minds immediately GoinG to islam. often do i see posts with arab writinG or featurinG arabic people and white people in comics will be sayinG "mashallah" and it kinda makes my blood boil? imaGine if every time a white person posted somethinG in enGlish a flock of people would Go to the comments and say "amen christ is lord".

what really pisses me off is when speakinG enGlish non reliGious people are free to say "jesus christ" however and whenever without anyone assuminG that they're reliGious but i can't say a sinGle thinG in arabic without people assuminG i Go to mecca yearly. this is a screenshot of somethinG my friend june my Good friend june said

in an effort to ween myself off ai art discourse, I've been making it a habit that every time I see a post on the topic that annoys me real bad I'll practice my meditative breathing. and then I'll open my notes app and rewrite the post word for word but replacing every instance of the phrase "ai art" with "photography" (and if applicable, every instance of words like "drawing" with "oil painting", and etc similar replacements) and then I'll sit back and re-read what I've written while pretending it was posted by a disgruntled oil painter 100 or whatever years ago during the advent of photography as an artistic medium. and this makes me happy, yes
