Steve’s beard is back, new shading, new sleeves, and whether those sleeves are rolled or just have very big seams they really show off those arms. I love Steve’s beard I really do. Mojang adding it back is a decision I support w/ my whole heart...I just refuse to draw him with it.

I think I found a way to avoid artistic burnout during the school year! I must draw up a piece I genuinely want to do. If I try something that’s too long or complex I might get frustrated and abandon it (ex: long comic strips) and then I divide the steps of rendering up on different days. Day 1: the sketch, Day 2: revamping of sketch, Day 3: Lineart if sketch looks good (lineart may take a few days because I enjoy looking at it from a fresh brain to see what I can change), Day 4: Flat colors, Day 5: shading, Day 6: potential complex shading could be added and other touch ups if not too much was done, AND THEN I UPLOAD IF ITS NOT TOO LATE IN THE EVENING Obviously this takes a long time, but if I’m lucky I could end up getting several pieces out every month. I’m on Day 4 with one WIP that I hope to have done this weekend :>

Voice Headcanon time!!

Have some 2 am voice headcanons! Move-in has me stressed and unable to sleep so I’ve been assembling ideas. Some of these may change in the future and that’s okay I’ll update y’all if that happens. I have voices on characters I think about most often atm

In alphabetical order

Abby: Emma Thompson (Specifically Queen Elinor from Brave)

Alex: either Anne Yatco or Asami Seto (both are good and reflect two sides of Alex and I can’t decide. Anne has the more Tom Boyish feeling but Asami has Alex’s feminine side 😫)

Herobrine: Shō Hayami (HB’s voice is very specific in my head and Hayami is the only person who gets close enough imo)

Jean: Jamie Murray (Carmilla’s posh authoritative voice is perfect. Originally Medusa from Soul Eater was pretty close but it lacked the ostentatious tone I was looking for)

Notch: JK Simmons (It’s really hard to find voice clips of JK being calm so… use your imagination 💀)

Steve: Rico Fajardo (Steve actually lacks a present voice in my head bc I just imagine his voice to be very average, but Rico’s works pretty well)
