Gotham, Gobblepot (Autumn Dance event) ficlet

The bite mark on his neck burned and Jim heard Cobblepot whispers in his head.

“You can’t deny me more…not tonight. You're going to offer your blood to me…”

Jim needed to grab the fence of the staircase. The bite mark was like an invisible collar wich leash was in Cobblepot's cold hands. He felt a pull and he wasn’t able to think anything else than that dreadful night when he made the deal with the vampire. 

Jim needed his help to get back to the GCPD, letting him to take his blood seemed a little price for that.

How stupid he was!

Jim took a breath to calm himself and looked down from the floor gallery. 

A street officer shaking from fear, says he just wants to get home and close the door and the windows. Nygma as he stops close to him, sniffing like he smells the fear with a sharp wolf-like smile.

The entire city has been cursed, and Halloween makes it shine through with the madness of this dreadful night.

And James Gordon wasn’t an exception at all. He felt the pull again and he was incapable to think about anything else than the vampire’s breath on his neck.

Gotham, Gobblepot (Autumn Dance event) ficlet

The fog over the river like a sheet covering a corpse, you just know there are dreadful things, bloody secrets buried deep down in the river. The detective was waiting for the Penguin, who was the embodiment of his own dirty secrets. Jim was standing outside his car with his back put to the door, arms crossed over his chest. He wanted to leave and never see Penguin again…and he wanted to wait here forever if that's needed to see Oswald again.

 This feeling was a never-lifting fog in his mind and dangerous happiness in his chest.

Jim heard the other's limping steps. The bird headed walking cane was knocking on the ground, but the detective only looked up when Oswald stopped next to him. Cruel ice blue eyes soften and Jim had to kiss him. A little sweet surprised voice from the Penguin made the detective smile in it. They never acted like this openly because it's dangerous, and it felt perfect and natural, and it was a secret. May the fog would hid this moment too.
