Introduction

Hello! Welcome to my Warehouse 13 gimmick blog. It's where I post about Wh13 and my ideas for a rewrite after watching the show 13 years after it ended. (Primarily S4-5)

Warehouse 13 would’ve been saved if Artie had done one thing: killed himself. (to save Leena)

Season 4 episode 18 Artie Gun in hand, Even Under the effects of the Astrolabe, he can't hurt his own, so he spares Leena by shooting himself instead. He saves the warehouse from one last threat: himself.

Leena is left broken, having survivor's guilt and struggling to keep up her tasks at the B&B. Claudia, also grieving, steps up to help Leena. They must both get through this devastating loss one day at a time. But Claudia has to do so while also balancing between being the future Caretaker and an active agent. To help, they bring on Dr. Abigail Chow, the Warehouse’s much-needed psychotherapist.

I feel like Claudia should've had a more emotional reaction on Leena's behalf after what happened in season 4 (the incident that shall not be named simply because I cannot bring myself to say it) given the fact that they hinted at— or flat-out said, if I remember correctly (I haven't watched the show in a while, spare me)— that Leena knows Claudia better than anyone or something like that. It's like they established that Leena and Claudia are supposedly close just for it to not even matter in the end, and I feel like it's because Leena wasn't necessarily in the episodes that much (and even if she has been in the episodes more than I remember, her scenes weren't necessarily that long???), but still???

This stresses me out so bad— I be waking up in a cold sweat

Decided to do a Warehouse 13 re-watch for the hell of it... and I'm laughing at the scene where Pete is shocked and excited by a farnsworth's "two way video communication". Like I know this was made pre-smartphones but I don't think it was made pre-Skype? Sure it's impressive that it's in so small a package at that time, and impressive that it was apparently invented right after television, but c'mon man. It's not a huge jump. Or maybe it just feels silly to me because in less than ten years or so two-way video communication becomes so normal and widespread.
