So I take it FLS is over now? I'll go independent then.

I think I'll do as Axel-mun says and keep this kitty around for comedic RPs, though I'll of course finish any current serious threads I have (OHGAWD CAIT IS GONNA DIE). I'll get to those later tonight.

I'm thinking about stopping this Cait Sith RP blog. Because of his non-humanoid nature, he's not able to enter into character relationships as deep as others. No intense rivalries, no whirlwind development, and the constant alienation of being a walking plush. All he is is a comic relief guy.
Vincent-mun and I were working on a dark story of how Cait Sith may have been granted sentience by the collection of dead souls we call Mako energy, but it actually got too dark. That, and I couldn't find a Nero to play with. Don't get me wrong, comic relief cat is fine and dandy! It's just, I kinda want something else. Hence the Deadman fight with Minatsuki-mun. I realize that I'm taking away the purpose of the RP group by seeking more serious RP outside of it, but it's just hard to do.

 I would rather have one than 4, trust me and none of the personalities are the same and they are different characters (Aqua, Stella Nox Fleuret, Jihl Nabaat and Ashe. Soon I will be Leblanc) but having many I guess is good for days like this when the group is very slow. And I think so she was on her indie earlier, and I saw that Fang was on and I know Zack is on.Â

've found, as Cait Sith, a lot of RP opportunities are lost to me because of the...you know, nonhuman thing.

To be honest Iâm not sure when they will be back, they come and go. I owe a lot of people and Iâm moving slow because they arenât here to add them to their drafts and itâs a pain in the ass to dig them up days or weeks later. Yea Shiki was here for the most part but with no one online she went to her indie too.Â
Is that soâŠ? Hmm⊠Iâm starting to think Iâm the only imbecile with just one account. And well. Shiki is here now I guess. She was just quietly liking some of my stuff like a good creep. Fang was here too but it seems she left just minutes before I arrived. I come back and find only busy and vanishing people. Just my luck.

Cait Sith nervously stows his megaphone in a secret compartment as he walks up to the flaming fur. âWell fanceh meetinâ ya here!â Truly, it was as if all his old friends were coming back.
He scratches the back of his head. âEheh, ya dun need ta worry âbout that, Nanaki olâ friend!â
I give the black and white feline a friendly woof. My words are not entirely serious as I do enjoy teasing the robot cat a little, call it payback for each time I receive a ht to the head when he take it upon himself to ride my back. I sit and lick a paw, regarding the other with a singular amber eye.
âIndeed Cait Sith, one was not expecting to find you out here in the desert, are you lost?â I peer about the landscape, looking for the small catâs creator. I cannot smell the humanâs scent, so assume that Cait Sith is alone âWhere is Reeve? Have you walked here on your own? One is surprised you were not eaten my friend, there a lots of monsters roaming these partsâ
"Lost? Nah, ah'm jus' takin' a stroll down mem'ry lane, 'sall!" The bundle of cords wrapped around the animatronic stem that served as Cait Sith's tail swish like an S-pattern while pointing straight-up. "Wanted to retrace old stompin' grounds, now that ah've led a different life." A slight twitch of circuitry and smile is noticeable.
"Reeve let meh go a while after the Battle o' Midgar. It was the strangest thing... And I dun actually remember alotta what happened back then. Somethin' 'nout Nero, Vincent, and then me wakin' up elsewhea." The tail stops its rhythm and plonks on the ground with a sound louder than would be expected from such a small tail; Shinra engineers never were subtle. "Thanks fer the worries, but ah can take care o' meself!"
One less problem... or not?
Nanaki walked along the street before noticing the cat. âGood Evening Cait-sith. Why are you alone?â
âAh, Nanaki muh friend! Was aboot ta ask ye the same thinâ, but nevuh mind that! GIDDY-UP!â Cait Sith leaps with the intention to mount Nanaki once more.
Nanaki prepared himself for the impact. He sighed and looked at the cat now sitting on his back, âMust you always do that?â
âWeâre friends that fought through the end oâ the world togetha! A bettuh question moighta been, âWhy shouldnât I?âl
Nanaki thought about it a moment before nodding, âYou do have a point, I suppose. Wel, my friend, where shall I take you?â
âAnywhea! Iâm more interested in talkinâ âbout the olâ days with a friend than destination!â The cat hangs onto the scruff of the liondogâs neck. ââow âave ya been, Nanaki?â
Nanaki started down the street, âI have been fine, journeying the planet, taking in the sights and learning all I can from my destinations. How about you Cait-Sith?â
âI been living in a new city, meetinâ new people, and tryinâ ta make as many people as ah can happeh!â In-between each phrase Cait Sith strikes a different pose of questionable balance on Nanakiâs back. âI also learned âow to bake!â He sits down with his gloved hands on his hips, very proud of his capacity to create something that doesnât hurt people.
Nanaki raised his head, âTo bake? My that is an accomplishment, all I have learned about myself is that I can apparently take a human form.â
âWut?â
Nanaki lowered his head, âPlease do not ask⊠It is far more embarrassing than you thinkâŠâ
"Aww c'mon! Ye cahnt jus' leave somebodeh hangin' aftuh droppin' a bombshell like that!"
So this happened

A cat and bird show
âNow now, lassâŠâ Can a robot feel fear? YES. The whips of blood reminded Cait Sith of the similar contraptions on Shinra Bloodtastes. Not a good sign. âCanât we talk this ova?â He continues to back-up until he was close to a wall. His hands were still up, but he turns in profile so the Deadman doesnât see his left paw slowly lowering into his side to retrieve a green marble. âWhat did ah do to anger ya? I can fix it, I can!â He sees the whips snake along. Maybe he can dodge them with his smaller size? If the Hummingbird tries to attack him, heâll try to jump above the whips and into an open space. Then heâll let the marble work its magic. âDun get meh wrong, I lova good show! Jusâ not when Iâm in itâŠâ
If that little pest didnât want a fight then he should have thought this through before shoving such a disgusting plant in front of her face then! Minatsuki merely laughs at the feline. âFix me? Iâm perfectly fine! The only personâor rather catâI see that need to be fix is you!â She takes a step forward while he moves back against the wall. Oh, just look at the fear in his eyes! The way his voice slightly shakes brought sweet delight for the hummingbird. She licks her lips again as they stretch wider. Now if she could shed just a little blood then sheâll be in cloud nine in no time. She raises her middle finger at the animal while sticking her tongue.
âNow shut yer trap! Itâs time to play!â She chimes, then snaps her fingers. Two of her whips zero in at the cat however, he was quick enough to dodge one of them as it left a prominent crack on the wall; while the other quickly wraps around one of the catâs leg. If he doesnât act attack soon, then sheâll plan to slams him against the wall where the crack was made.
Upon looking at the bloody whip trapping his leg, Cait Sith realized it may have been a bad idea to greet the Deadman on a whim. The cat was surprised at the girl's accuracy, hitting such a small target. But Cait Sith had a few tricks of his own! The green marble is brought to bear in a megaphone the cat withdraws from a compartment hidden by his cape. Junctioning the attack magic into it, Cait Sith vocalizes his spell.
"Ah think not!" The sound waves from the megaphone turn into ice particles mid-flight, which turn the floor beneath Minatsuki into a frozen sheet. He kicks his trapped leg with all the robotic strength he can muster and causes the girl attached to the other end to follow the flow of force. With both fighters on the ground but with no actual damage, it was time to kick-off the real fight.
Still basically glued to Minatsuki, the catbot jumps at her with his impromptu melee weapon and hopes he doesn't miss...but he probably will.

So quiet tonight...
And with that poke, the frozen cat tips-over like a statue fallen from a pedestal and lands with a sharp KLANG sound, but form still intact. It should have been clear to the woman that he was actually robotic in nature. Cait Sith then releases the tension in his body and looses-up again, his limbs being as dextrous as earlier. He is sitting on the ground now, paws out in front of him like he was a tripod. He shakes his head rapidly like a cartoon character, crown unmoving. âI, uh, yes, yes ah am, Miss Heartilly. Jusâ reelinâ from tha shock of who ya are.â He tries to chortle himself out of the awkward situation, but realizes it may have been too late. Funny that being star-stricken may have released his deep secret.
Rinoa blinks in surprise at the KLANG sound, so heâs a robot, a cute and very fluffy cat robot now that is a surprise, though the poor thing looks so shocked. Finally she crouches a bit, resting her hands over her knees and watching him, waiting for him to finally react and then shaking her head a bit. âI seeâŠI hope that youâre okay though.â This was really a better reaction that people actually jumping at her and screaming at her at finding out the identity of her mother.
Cait Sithâs head spins to the sound of sprockets and gears and whirring motors before resetting to its rightful position. Yeah, that would do it! Bye-bye inconspicuousness. âIâm fine, lassie, Iâm fine! Iâm hardier than ah look!â He was oblivious to the display he launched and the effects it may have on his future. Doing a backflip onto his boots, the cat meets crouching Rinoa at eye level. âHoot, mon. The daughter oâ a real star!â
Yep, heâs a robot okay, but worry not cat of the future or something, she wonât say anything or react in a bad way, after all she has seen robots beforeâŠmilitary robots but she has and she takes this on stride, rather calmly and she wonât pry with any kind of questions in case she might step any boundaries. She chuckled just a bit at that. âWell I guess you can say that.â
Cait Sithâs whiskers wiggle in puzzlement. âGuess? B-But, everyoneâs hearda Julia Heartily! World-famous singer durinâ the era of the war! Ye should take moâ pride in that!â Cait Sith hums a portion of one of her more famous songs badly off-key, calling his whole career into question. âAye, love that tune! Haha, yer mum made many a soldier âappy durinâ those dark times.â His false feline ears droop as he reminds himself of some dark deeds during his own deployment as a spy.
She chuckled just a bit. âYes, everyone has heard of her.â And she will try not to wince at the sound of the rather off-key thing coming from the cute cat; yep maybe he should think of another career path. A small thoughtful expression appeared on her face, yes, she knew that her mother had mostly gotten popular during the war and the reason a lot of people were so fond of her, for those brief moments of happiness she brought them. âI know and thatâs what makes me happy about her fame, that she was able to bring such comfort to all of those soldiers when they needed it the most.â
"Aye, if only I cahn get such an effect..." The cat's top third lies listlessly forward as if in defeat. "I been tryin' ta make people 'appy all my life, and I cannae say that I succeeded even 'alf the time." He thinks about how he worked as a literal slave for Scarlet and Heidegger's plans back when Reeve was around. Fast forward to a few years later with Aphrodite and not much progress has been made. He's still always looked at as that darn cat. "But that's why I wanna work the entertainment industry! Those people always make othas 'appy, right? 'swhy I went and listed my stage presence as a' asset on mah resume!"
