Every Daisy Darling illustration I’ve drawn from 2024 - 2025! I’m hoping to draw a lot more this year—I took quite a while to recover medically for reasons I’m not really going to get into, but I’d say 2024 has been the most consistently I’ve drawn in a long while, and I genuinely feel very good about that! Now I want to up that anti and get myself into the habit of posting not just pretty sketches, but rough ones as well. I draw quite a bit, but I don’t post about half of it. I’d like to change that habit!

Archangel Gabriel, like Michael, is known as a “Prince of Heaven”. However, unlike his twin, the public is very familiar with him. Gabriel, since Lucifer’s fall, had taken on additional roles to help lighten Heaven’s load, specifically, in the task of Recordkeeping. He can often be found working in Heaven’s Archival Office, and seldom has time for much else other than work.

It could be argued that before the fall, he was the one closest to Lucifer. While all the brothers look alike, the resemblance between Gabriel and Lucifer is particularly striking. Many of the denizens of Heaven wondered if that was the reason Gabriel would dye his hair, and dawn clothes only in black.

Archangel Michael, also known as “the Prince of Heaven” among angels, has not been seen often by the denizens that reside ever since Lucifer’s fall. He is known to keep to himself, and to be quite busy with matters that are often discussed as being extremely important, but very secretive. The only Angels who see Michael frequently are the Virtues, as he leads their choir practice.

There have been rumors that Michael is the only one of the seven brothers that is still close to both Lucifer and Lilith, and, stranger yet, that his decade long disappearance every hundred years is actually because he has gone down to Hell. The reason why is uncertain, but many suspect that it’s about his efforts to keep the Root of Evil at bay…
