The artwork in @ihave-nocontrol and I’s fic for the @kakairu-reverse-bang. Having basically fallen off drawing consistently and focusing on just keeping my head above the water, I joined the kkir server and ended up wanting to challenge myself a bit and at the least try a big project again. It was scary at first, and life situations kept throwing things in the way, but I am super proud that I managed through to come out and have made this much, fully completed, and feel happy with! The fic is My Beating Heart, on ao3, and you should definitely check it out! It’s a Cinderella au with a few alterations and a little more magical flair! (click for bigger view)

At some point I’m going to have the mental capacity to draw AND post and y’all will rejoice because oh good kay still lives thought she had died or something phew

up until the realization hits that the only thing I’ll be drawing and posting is lok stuff with my ocs and the many, many aus I’ve ended up making where the single mom oc I have (and have had for, technically speaking, 10 years) romances and bangs a reformed Amon/Noatak, and the other oc (her child) wraps both these older men around her finger because she is tiny and cute and they are weak. also Tarrlok has a good time being an uncle. Also they live.

And y’all will have to deal with it while I roll around in my draws and self indulgent bs.

But like I still haven’t gotten the mental facilities to punch through to doing that so like. Ya’ll got some time.

Korra’s…..a kind and good character, but she’s not the nicest or most sociable Light Cleric to come out of a clergy but. y know. You don’t really need social skills to cast Cure Wounds or Firebolt. Sooooooo….

How are you and how are you holding up after the finale?

Me personally? Could be a lot better. Could be a lot worse.

In regards to the finale, I stopped watching the volume after aboooout episode 2, and from there either read itsclydebitches’ thorough and thoughtful recaps (which I can and do recommend) or let someone else tell me what happened to save myself some sanity. Which, from what all I’ve heard, isn’t the worst option I could have chosen (the best choice imo would have been to not at all watch or listen and live blissfully ignorant for the rest of my days-but hindsight ya know? Lol)

But to sum up: im fine since I didn’t watch it, but based on recaps and what my friends have had to say about fit—that was so fucking dumb. Hey crwbs? That was bad. What the fuck that was bad. Also that’s it? That’s it??? That’s the big face off?? That’s so dumb. That’s so bad. What the fuck. Hey RT? What the fuck.

Anyway -tosses v7 and v8 out the window into the garbage- in one of my better energy moods I’d like to start drawing a short comic of Qrow accidentally getting sent the wrong video clip from Glynda while he’s on a mission (it was supposed to be something from Ozpin relevant to insert mission here) but instead the clip is an old recording of young James in a chair, singing a book to sleeping Winter on one side of him in the chair, and a barely awake trying to sing along with him toddler Weiss on the other side of him.

Or just more of pseudo dad James with the Schnee kids because I’m so weak for it. Always have been.

Reminder: unsub and unfollow sortamalicious gaming twitch as soon as you can if you forgot or haven’t been able to, because he is still getting money from you. Also consider reporting his account to twitch to be taken down. This man does not and should not ever have a platform to stand on after everything he’s done. For the sake of possible future victims and for the ones he’s hurt.

When you report his account on twitch, include links to evidence. There’s plenty to find on the Reddit thread containing stories with photos or videos, but do peruse carefully for your own mental health’s sake. It’s important to include the links of photo/videos to back up your claims when reporting or else twitch can easily sweep the claims aside for the lack of evidence. You can do both on twitch app (desktop and mobile) as well as on an internet tab, and the how-to’s of doing so has been helpfully outlined by @micooll here

And honestly, if you’re still making art or fic using his characters, please stop. I know we want to believe we can reclaim a character or persona because we fueled it in creative works but the fact of the matter is that these personas/characters are still directly tied to the man himself. They were created on the back of a predator. As reflections of a predator. You don’t need his reflections or him staining your works and hurting his victims in the community that still want to enjoy creative works for rtah. Just drop them.
