Hi! I'm opening comms since I'm low on money and out of a job at the moment!

My minimum prices are as stated above, and I'd also be willing to discuss designing creatures or characters for people for a price.

Will draw: - Anything with humans, furries, animals, alien creatures. Coon is a racist slur? For what race? Coon used to be my Aunts cat’s name. Though I don’t know if it was spelt with a C or two Os for that matter but it was definitely pronounced the same. She was a long haired tortoise shell so I have no idea the reasoning. She looked nothing like a Racoon. Pet names are weird sometimes. Did you know there are people that give their cats like normal human names? Can you imagine an acquaintance talking about what him and Doug are up to and it turns out Doug is a cat or dog?

Maybe where your from but “black” people who aren’t Aboriginal Australian’s only started immigrating/visiting in large enough numbers to be noticeable in a crowd like about 15 years ago and calling Aboriginal’s after an animal that isn’t even native would be odd and just make people look at the name-caller weird. Cause there’s no cultural context. Heck I only know they’re considered “trash pandas” cause of the Guardian’s of the Galaxy.

I’m not saying Australia doesn’t have racists, there’s plenty of local slurs for groups who’ve been around long enough, but even the most abrasive fight pickers, need to be around someone long enough to invent a way to pick a fight.

We know about the N-word though, cause Rap Music. Honestly it’s fascinating, I always used to think American media was way too prevalent over here, but it seems like there’s still a lot of context missing. Probably cause those movies don’t really explain anything cause they assume the viewer grew up in the culture. Then again maybe I’ve just been living under a rock. But I’m fairly certain trying to call someone a critter that doesn’t even exist in the country would be weird.

This is a strange topic to go on a fun little ramble about. You can look up the term and see it for yourself and judge. But like.
