Or maybe you just met him, THOUGHT you hit it off, but really didn’t in the way you thought. If you just met him and haven’t established any kind of texting pattern, it means he’s just not that into you. Or he could be busy (slight, but slim chance.)

And I know this is not the most pleasant thing to hear, but there’s nothing worse than sitting by the phone, waiting in this weird anticipation for something that’ll never happen.

This weird anticipation is all-consuming. This feeling overcomes you, as if you are trying to catch a breath of air yet can’t find any relief.

You can’t take in a deep breath and are drowning in a sea without oxygen every second he doesn’t respond. Sometimes it can feel this extreme. Other times, though, it’s like this lingering disease you feel. This lingering malaise you try so hard not to let seep into your soul. This lingering doubt you have, every second that goes by with no response. You try so hard not to let this doubt consume you. You try so hard not to care (or at least, try to convince yourself and others you don’t care).

But deep down, you’re hurting. You just want to know why you can’t get a simple response. You’d be so, so relieved if only he had the decency to give you some kind of answer. An answer to the hopelessness you feel. The problem is, you are not 100% hopeless. You still have this morsel of hope that he is going to text back, as if that will make everything okay.

The bottom line is: there is no text he can send that will make or break you. The bottom line and reality you need to accept the truth: that he is not invested in this the way you are. You must stop wasting time on a dead end. This is time you could be spending leaving yourself open for true love to come along.

So stop fixating on why he won’t text back. Let go of this. Truly let go. This will bring you peace.

All I Need To Remember Is That I Am Enough

Love is NOT a mystery. There are specific things you can do (with or without your partner). Just as there are physical laws of the universe (such as gravity), there are also laws for relationships. If you know how to apply these laws, the results are predictable.

Love is therefore a decision. Not just a feeling.

Remember this always: God determines who walks into your life. It is up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay and who you refuse to let go.
