Abbreviated complaints: we know Tyrande is angry, we needed the book to show us something we didn’t know. What makes Night Warrior Tyrande different from just regular angry Tyrande? The dynamics between her and Shandris and Maiev were crap, there was basically nothing evocative of their actual characters there, and, because it revealed nothing new about the Night Warrior state, and because she was portrayed so simplistically, it (further!) weakened the role, it made her less intimidating, because the flaws of her current state of mind are SO exaggerated, so obvious and one sidedly flawed, there’s no actual threat left, no mystery about her power or where it’s going. The story literally did the one thing I really didn’t want to happen- it ALREADY Temple of the Red fucking Crane’d her again! HURR ME TYRANDE ME CRUSH oh… thank you for guiding me, other people, I would have just gone totally apeshit otherwise.

Here’s hoping a possible stop in Garlemald in a future expansion draws people out. Lets them organize and really go haywire. It’d be fun! I hope you also find like-minded Garlean Roleplayers.

Can’t wait for us to get to Garlemald if only because to give a place for Garlean RPers to really bite into. Give more lore to the place than just the outsiders looking in on invaders perspective. We got a bit of information with the Popularis. But I feel like we need a bit more to chew on now. Especially now that the Emperor is out of the picture and Zenos is prancing off to god knows where.
