I'm curious about Akiko and Clara, Anything more you can tell us about them or are you still working on the details of their story? Love their designs so far.

I’d be happy to tell you a bit about them! 😊

Akiko was a homicide detective who was transferred to an investigation unit specializing in theft and other crime in the city of Tycho. Akiko wasn’t really interested in theft cases until she crosses paths with a particular phantom thief! She has a bad habit of falling into rabbit holes and staying up far too late reading about things that interest her so caffeine is a must for her.

Clara works as a barista at her aunt’s coffee shop by day and at night she’s the phantom thief specializing in giving the local authorities some major headaches. She enjoys the thrill of “collecting” jewels but seems to have a keen interest in music boxes. Her aunt’s coffee shop is the go-to for the locals of Tycho so it’s a great place to overhear local gossip and such!

Also some random facts, Akiko has a collection of silly eye masks and Clara enjoys needle felting & making wigs 😊

Eventually I’d like to share more of these two because so their story means a lot to me ❤️

idk if my ask got eaten that I sent you, I will send one more, but just wanted to say hello, I met you at wondercon this year! and I bought your Kaito Kid stickers to send to a friend in France (you also let me take a pic of your Kaito tattoo to show them, and they said you had excellent taste haha). I was the person who recognized Moomins, Magic Kaito, and OFF right at the end of Sunday. It was a pleasure to meet you, and I'm glad to have made your day with my recognition of those three niche things. The stickers did reach the friend I bought them for, and they love them! They put one of the Kaitos on their roomba so he could freely wander their living space.
