candlelight vigil at 7pm 6pm today (april 12th)  (moved to accommodate those who do not wish to stay past curfew) 

protest at bcpd at 7pm 4-6pm today (april 12th) (rescheduled due to curfew) 

police are most likely going to start kettling at 7pm 

gas masks available for black folks protesting

beware that the fbi has a complex a few blocks away from bcpd (physical location)

be aware that there is a 7pm curfew for hennepin, anoka, ramsey, and dakota counties (because they want to fuck with the vigil and protest) 

curfew has been modified so that anyone travelling to prayer, such as taraweeh, is exempt 

walz says that ‘largest police presence in Minnesota history will be prepared’ to enforce curfew, so please prepare if you’re planning to protest 

remember that breaking curfew can be as simple as taking a walk, the more people who disobey the curfew the better

Apartment hunting has shown me that so many kids my age and younger openly broadcast that they are running away from abusive homes and that they are LGBT. I sympathize completely, but you do not under any circumstances need to be on a roommate finder website telling strangers on the internet that you are part of a vulnerable minority with no one back home who cares what happens to you... just say you are moving out, end of. Once you get to trust someone you live with then you can share the backstory. Internet safety is something that still matters.
