This is my first cc ever so I wanted to do something kind of simple and easy to start off with, so here's a smallish 20's makeup set.
These are makeups meant for sims in the acting career. I don't know how useful this will actually be for anyone besides me lol, but I thought it would be nice to have some historically accurate makeup for my 1920's actor sim. These facepaints are probably a little bit of an exaggeration of what they really wore, but for the most part I tried to be accurate in colors used. This is a blog describing the exact techniques used in early film and what I based the facepaints on. I also added a pancake face swatch for slapstick actors.
If the facepaint is too much, I also added an eyeliner/overlay which is meant to give a bold and high contrast obvious silent film look without being a full-on facepaint. This is also meant mainly just for the acting career, but you can use it for daily wear too if you want to look a little odd.
The last part of the set are just some flapper style eyeshadows and lipsticks. You can use these in conjunction with the other parts of the set for a glamorous actress look, or just use them for casual wear. Fair warning though ☝️ the colorful swatches of the eyshadow can look kind of crazy on different skintones. I was able to make it look fine on the full scale of skintones by adjusting the opacity/darkness/saturation, just lyk that you have to fiddle with it a bit to look good. The lipsticks are totally fine though no fiddling necessary.

(also i already said it but this is my first cc ever, so if this is totally messed up or explodes your computer or something please let me know!! i'm just worried it'll randomly not work anymore 😟)
I've been itching to try my hand at proper CC making for a while, and in my naivety decided that 1920s silhouettes would be pretty simple to create, so the Sybil dress was born! Personally I've always found there's a gap in historical CC for more simple daywear, so I've create a simple, summery day dress inspired by early 1920s fashion plates.
This project could not be released without saying a massive thank you to @surely-sims -- as well as being an amazingly talented storyteller and creator, Anne is also the kindest and most patient CC fairy godmother out there, and I couldn't have completed this without her help!

Comes in 15 solid swatches and 6 floral swatches (as you can see from the preview the skirt pattern is unfortunately distorted, this was the best I could get it while remaining sane)
Separate colour overlay for the belt included! (ring category)

Please tag me if you end up using this piece, I'd love to see it in other people's games. And also please let me know if you find any issues with it, I'm very much still learning!
The first one is unisex and the rest are single-gender. For the clay hairs, the Daylifesims and Simandy ones use Afterglow textures and the 20thCenturySims one uses a mix of the original and Nouk's afro. Also I'll do a two-color version of the Curbs hair eventually. Finally, the Raonjena hair and the 20thCenturySims hair come in a few unnaturals (the swatch is included).
We made it to 2026 and another new year means a small gift of new CC. Part III offers mix-and-match tops and bottoms (+ 1 dress) inspired by my own original character, Ruby Atlas Oliver, from my '30s DSV save. As always, I hope you enjoy these items as much as I do and please tag me if you use them!

UPDATE 1/7/26:
Please redownload the ATLAS DRESS OR the MERGED file. Thanks to Surely-Sims who caught an issue with weights and a jewelry exclusion error. And thank you all for your patience as my scrambled brain tries to remember how to make CC after months away lol.
I've had this series on my to-do list for a couple of years now and I'm so glad I finally made the commitment to put it together. It was a lot of work researching wedding fashion history and hunting down appropriate CC, but man did I enjoy the ride. And seeing them all together here in a 12 decade journey of bridal fashion makes my heart glow. My aim when I create historical content for my blog is to provide a handy resource for those simmers out there who enjoy historical game play, so by focusing on a significant life event throughout the decades I hope I've brought you some ideas for your own game. Down below I've linked to each decade's post where you'll find all the CC used in their respective lookbook.

Simple 1920s summer ensemble. Mesh and texture not the most intricate in the world but I like it, and maybe someone will also find it usefull.
Important (!): it is not a hat it is a hairstyle with a hat attached to it. Every cloche hat, I ever found, clipped with ea's and cc hairstyles (if it wasn't made specificaly for that particular hat) so this was the solution. By default the hat colour is simple yellow straw. In "hats" you can find overlay for the hat and in "earrings" - flower accessory for the hat (this category used because you will not see earring with this hat).

Child to T-E conversion of Tiana's work dress and hat, as requested by Anon. These two pieces ended up being easy to size up. I tried to make the coat as well, but that didn't quite work out.
As before:
The dress comes in @stephanine-sims Pudding Palette with accents from @chere-indolente’s Retro Patterns.
The hat is in the retired Milk Tea palette.

Hello I'm back with a lingerie set this time ! It includes corsets, a corset cover and some drawers. Althought the painting that inspired me this time is older than usual, the cc I ended up making is fit for the 1870s, 1880s, 1890s & 1900s.
More pics and download below
This set was mainly inspired by the Edgar Degas's painting : La Repasseuse (The Laundress/Ironer).
————————— Plain Corsets —————————
———————————————————————————
In the 19th and 20th corsets were used to achieve the fashionable shape of the times, provide bust support, maintain good posture and distribute the weight of the skirt's and petticoat's yards of fabric.
Althought corsets were underwear judging from the paintings I've seen (cf reference pictures below) working women would sometimes take off their bodices when it was getting too hot (ironers, laundresses as well as peasants during harvest).
I've kept these plain corsets pretty simple only featuring the boning channels (where the whale bones or steel bones would go) and a bit of cording under the bust, as I've seen on most corsets of that period.
I've made 2 versions :
is meant to be worn on top of clothing (presumably underwear but you do you) and as such are compatible with my skirts and split drawers
is meant to be worn under clothing (petticoat or skirt)
32 swatches : 22 solids & 10 floral patterns
2 versions
————————— Lace Corsets —————————
———————————————————————————
These are the same corset but with some lace at the top, a very common style but probably more expensive than the plainer ones.
These corsets too exist in 2 versions (V1 to wear over clothing and V2 to wear under).
32 swatches : 22 solids & 10 floral patterns
2 versions
——————— Embroidered Corsets ———————
———————————————————————————
These corsets are the same as the lace ones with added embroidery.
This type of embroidery is called flossing it's decorative but also practical : the flossing reduces the corset bones’ movements to improve the comfort of the wearer.
These corsets too exist in 2 versions (V1 to wear over clothing and V2 to wear under).
36 swatches : 24 solids & 10 floral patterns
2 versions
————————— Corset Cover —————————
———————————————————————————
As the name implies corset cover were worn on top of corsets. Their purposes were to smooth over the corset lines (the equivalent of today's pantylines), to hide the corset's color (for it to not show under a lighter bodice), to absorb sweat so as to protect the bodice and finally especially in the edwardian era to act as padding to achieve the fashionable pigeon breast look.
That being said it seems not everyone wore corset covers from what I've seen.
Like corsets, corset cover too were sometimes used as workwear by women working in hot environnements (ironers, laundresses as well as peasants during harvest).
This corset cover includes 3 styles (pictured below) with different degrees of "laceyness". I tried my best to make it work for both 1880s and Edwardian fashion, in the end I think it's leaning more toward the later.
15 swatches : 3 styles (cf picture above) with 5 swatches of white/off white each
————————— Split Drawers —————————
———————————————————————————
For most of the 19th century and even the beginning of the 20th century, women drawers were open : they were composed of 2 legs that would be buttoned or tied together at the waist and that would overlap in the crotch but could be split appart when necessary.
I've made 2 versions of these, since I've seen both :
is tighter under the knee giving that poofy "bloomer" like shape
is straight legged
10 swatches with 5 different white & off white color ways
2 versions

And once again as a bonus some of my main reference pictures :
Good news! Now your fashionable early 1910s Sims can wear the ridiculously tight dress of their dreams!
Just a few little notes. First off, I considered adding a version with a peplum but never did. Might still do it in the future but we'll see.
This dress was absolutely evil and took me ages to finish because the weights and such kept getting messed up. That may be my fault for attempting to make such a tight skirt. It made me want to kill someone, but I have another WIP that makes me want to kill several someones, so the Hobbledehoy is pretty tame by comparison.
The weights still aren't perfect, especially around the ankles, but I did the best I could and I think they're acceptable. Obviously it's gonna distort if your Sim moves their legs too much, just like a real hobble skirt would probably rip if you moved your legs too much. It's also incompatible with some bulkier shoes, since they just clip through the skirt. And as always with things that use transparency, the lace on the oversleeves won't look right if your graphic settings are low.
The name Hobbledehoy started off as a joke, but I never ended up renaming the file, so it's called Hobbledehoy now. That's a real, existing word, but it has nothing to do with the Edwardian trend of ridiculously tight skirts called hobble skirts. A hobbledehoy is, according to Wiktionary, "an awkward adolescent youth".
On the first day of Jeffmas, my true love gave to me...let's not go there, but here's a smashing, rather obnoxious dress inspired by the most notorious and feared woman in The Sims Community circa 2012, created by someone who was around back then and should know better.
My first Jeffmas prawn, or Prawn of Disdain as she likes to be referred to as is none other than @ice-creamforbreakfast; that callous and tricksy woman of many names, with a penchant for sequins!
For day one, she cheered, as I lay in distress!
Fear not, Father Jeffmas, for I will make a dress!
And make a dress she did indeed!
As my fears she did not heed
For you mustn't wake Ms. Perry,
If you want a Shrimpmas Merry!
But no, she said, behold its bows!
Ms. Perry has some stylish clothes!
I screeched my warning noon and night
But yet again, we've unleashed the Sweet Treats blight
Come back tomorrow for more....sweet treats (look what you started!), My next prawn transformed the lives of sims from the garden to the dining room table! That's a clue, @surely-sims. We all know you love a good Nancy Drew moment here at Jeffmas HQ, so you're welcome.
On the second day of Jeffmas, my true love gave to me....some cream to remedy day one's gift. You know what else goes well with cream? Jello.
My second Jeffmas prawn is truly a prawn of the palette, @icemunmun-spicy-scalpel! Today she brings you a glorious vintage jello mould that's fresh from the factory, but looks like its been in the family for at least one whole generation!
BUT WAIT! This isn't just any jello mould, this is a ✨functional✨jello mould, so delete your deco relatives and invite your granny over for some fine aspic cuisine!
MunMun has some additional details on this download available here!
🚨Please also visit the link above if you're coming here late in the game and we're forty five patches in...so any time after January 2025 really.🚨
There'll be even more fun tomorrow! Day three's prawn has an encyclopedic knowledge of vintage Barbie fashion and an eye for fashion! You'll be posing in front of your flammable Christmas tree looking absolutely decadent! Just don't stand too close to those lights...
