the past

ever since i was little i was fascinated by the past. i felt a connection. i wanted to go into the past. when my mom first told me about the 90s, i really wanted to go there. then i started watching full house in 2014 and i really wanted to go to the 80s and 90s. don't even get me started with the babysitter books. then in 2016-2017 i really wanted to go into the 80s and stranger things didn't help. now i want to go to 2003 and 2008 and 2011 and every year from 1970-2015. i love the past and i will never not nostalgia trip.

about to turn seventeen, am i going to be too old to act like this? do i have to give up the whimsical joy of obsession and fangirling? sixteen was fine and now im scared to be serious
