“If she does that, I will threaten her with making all her virgin worshippers fall in love and soon they will be no longer virgins,” she answered with a teasing smirk. “I would actually love that. It would be so much fun. Let us hope she challenges me and ignores my threat. I would gladly lose a shooting match if it meant messing with your sister.”

The bark of laughter that escaped from his mouth was honest, and he let his head fall to rest on her shoulder, rolling closer towards her. "I would hope you would not do something so file, Dite. She would end up blaming me in the end and then I would have to deal with it all. You would not do something so cruel to me would you?"

He noticed Apollo’s eyes darting to where he glanced. Well, there was no reason to ban visitors entirely, unless they were here to do his sister’s bidding. Hades beckons to the room down the hallway, a look of worry crossing his face. “She is, here, as you suspect. But— she will not want to speak to anyone who does not wish to grant her wishes and take her back.” He lets out a sigh, and then suspiciously eyes the god. “I do not wish to be petty, but if you are here to do Demeter’s bidding, I may have to send you back in a less courteous fashion.”

"Why would I do her bidding?" He asked, watching the face of his uncle change for just a moment, the worry plain on his features before dissapearing in a flash. "Demeter has no faith in me doing what she asks, probably because of the many times I have absconded away with Persephone for our amusement. She doesn't trust me enough and if I were to be honest, this is better for her. She needs to see something other than the halls of Olympus once a year or whereever it is her mother keeps her."

Aphrodite smiled triumphantly when he returned to her. She placed a soft kiss on his lips and chuckled at his words. “I will happily face Artemis’ wrath if you’ll stay with me,” she said. She was the essence of romance, sweet words easily rolling off her tongue.

"And if she challanges you to a shooting match what shall you do?" He asked, laying back down next to her and resting his head in his hands, watching her.

“Very well. He shall be reborn as a wolf, in your honor of course, and for the bravery that he exhibited in the midst of battle. No child should have to witness that.”

"You are... thank you. You do not know what this means to me."

“Truly. I often have little time to search through all the names during times of war or plague. I find it helpful to ask those that are invested.” Listening to the name, he nodded. “And what makes him worthy?”

"Besides the boy being a child? He was innocent, killed because of his father's doings. He did nothing to deserve being killed."

He looked at his nephew with an air of surprise. “I, for one, thought you would be more concerned about this matter, but it proves that I misjudged you.” At his inquiries, Hades shrugged, his eyes wandering briefly down the corridor where she was holding up her protest of sorts. “I do not recall that any of the gods made explanations for why we wanted particular things, you included. If I must indulge you, the girl could do with some more…freedom, though I hesitate to call it that. She is not won over yet, and it seems that Demeter wants my head for this.”

"Concerned? No. Worried for my sister, yes, but I know quite well you would do nothing to harm the sweet thing." Following his line of sight, Apollo quirked and eyebrow but said nothing. He had made the journey in hope of seeing her, and he was now, hopefully, one step closer to his goal. At the talk of freedom and the young goddess, he couldn't help but snort. She had been anything but free. "You would be right. Demeter is causing quite a storm up on the surface. Is Persephone here at the moment, or have I missed her?"

“Apollo, you cannot leave me here all alone. I will get bored… and cold.”

Hesitating, he returned to her side and layed down, kissing her with a smile on his lips. "Then you shall be the one to face my sister's wrath, not I."

Nodding lightly, he offered a small smile. “I believe there will be plenty who are praying to you now though. That’s actually why I am here. Is there any followers you feel should be…. reborn.”

"Truly?" Apollo asked, his eyes widening at the god before him. One name jumped to him immedietly. "Astyanax." Not even the name of his own son came before the name of Andromache's.

Hebe’s eyes widened. “No.. I.. Uhm, what? No I mean. I didn’t talk about her at all. I asked if you wanted me to pour you more wine?” She stammered at his sharp words, holding up the canter which she carried nearly everywhere in Olympus.

"Hebe," his eyes widened as he took her in, simply assuming that someone had come to bother him. Glancing awkwardly at the canter in her hands, he nodded. "I am sorry. Please."

“And what would happen if one was to speak my name?” Athena asked walking up behind him. “Wouldn’t it be better to tell me why you dislike me so much dear brother to my face rather than remaining sour?”

"I would, perhaps, decide to spear them through and leave them to bleed out, but that might be far too nice of a punishment." He hissed, snapping his lips closed at the end of his words. "If you would like me to list the ways I wish to see you dead, dear sister, then please, by all means, stay in my presence."
