After staring at the pads for a few second, he suddenly gasps.
"Fuck! The wings are still in the car!"
You're... not sure if you're talking about the same thing anymore.
"What wings, Toji?"
He puts the remote control down, standing up to get the car keys. "The chicken wings you asked for. I forgot to take them out of the car"
A grown man with two children is expected to at least know what wing pads are, but looks like that's too much to ask from Fushiguro Toji.
The annoyed expression on your face catches him off guard. You're clearly upset, but there's shock in your eyes too. This is another of those times when he can't realize what's wrong, but he has to at least try to make things better.
