Honestly if anyone was going to buy and continue rwby viz is a pretty good choice

I'm...conflicted about what I want the future of rwby to going to be...

RWBY has been one of my favorite shows ever and I want it to get an ending, preferably the ending they planned for it, but I just don't feel great about the rights going to someone else.

Even if the new company cares about making more rwby: they won't care about finishing the store crwby started, little if any of crwby will work on it, it won't look the same, they will mostly likely recast everyone...

And it won't feel like rwby to me..

They've never really gone into detail about how the connections needed for Raven's portals work so I'm just guessing she can "feel" them. I remember wondering way back in v8 if Raven felt the connection break when Yang fell, since she wasn't on Remnant anymore.

If that is how it works and she's been in Vacuo with everyone else, was she just talking to someone and randomly feel the connection snap back into existence? How fucking weird must that have been?

Between them says they still haven't gotten the greenlight for volume 10 and the cut epilogue for v9 I'm going to sob

This little moment might have sold me on it

It's a quiet morning in Vacuo when Ren and Nora's scrolls beep. Staring up at them for the first time in months is the aura reading and smiling face of Jaune. They're out the door in seconds, running through the streets. They ignore the happy huntress and ace Opes calling out to them. They pass a confused team SSSN and CFVY.

Oscar and Emerald don't even try to stop them, just follow after the pair the best they can. Qrow cuts off he's talk with Robyn and Winter after seeing he's kids so frantically rushing to the edge of the city. He catches up with them at the city gate just in time to see five familiar figures appear on the horizon.

If the brothers do come back to Remnant in the end do you think Ruby and Co. Should just lead with "look we talked to your mom and she said you two use to be a hot mess too so maybe just drop it ok?"

I've thought about it and I'm ok with the time jump being enough time that Qrow is in Vacuo by the time the team gets there. The man needs a win let him be one of the first people to find out he's kids are alive

They're definitely doing better then before but I hope they don't just carry on like Ruby and Jaune are magically ok now. I do think being back will be great for both of them though for two big reasons

The one shot we got off Vacuo had ships from all the kingdoms which means Ruby's plan worked in a way. It might have been to late for Atlas, but they did get her message out.

Ruby isn't perfect, she failed but she brought the world together.

Jaune has always wanted to be a hero and it seems like he doesn't realize how much he's support means to everyone. Losing Jaune was probably really hard for Ren and Nora after everything they've been through, Oscar too. I think Jaune will be surprised by how much they need him.

Jaune isn't the hero, but he is their family.

That really was the perfect moment of Summer's life to show Ruby.

It's not the memory of the superhero mom that she and Yang have. It's not a glimpse of the silver eyes warrior that Ozpin hinted at. It's not the hopelessly optimist Raven remembers. It's not the perfect teammate and leader that Qrow talks about.

As much as everyone has gone on about how amazing Summer was, she still made mistakes.

Summer wasn't perfect and it's nice that Ruby got to see that.
