G U T 👌🏻 H E A L T H • I haven’t been caring for myself for a long time, & The taxman, he is working to collect. So, in the next few days, I am going to experiment with a #bonebroth reset. I need to lose weight, but that isn’t the purpose - rather, I need to power down and turn back on again. I’ve tried so many various diets over the years, most recently #LowFodMap, which I actually really liked, but nothing else worked. My approach and reasons were super wrong. My quarantine baby, @a.single.pantry, was borne from that need to nourish myself, to teach myself how to, and really to live my best life... & to do that, I need to get back to one, and get the damn weight off. So, first things first... this pause. I watched my bff do this, for similar reasons last week, and I really enjoyed watching her journey. Like her, I’m going to “fast” during the day, and eat leaves and veg at night, drink mostly water, with the exception of herbal teas. I’m not going completely cold turkey and eliminating #caffeine, I don’t want to be uncomfortable, but rather set intentions for the next leg of the journey after this... In the meantime, I made a veggie #RiceBowl for dinner tonight, and it was pretty much amazing! (I really wanted to gorge myself on fast food, but nah...) - Sweet Corn, Rice, Black Beans, Tomato, Green Onion, Garbanzos... the only think missing is some avocado, but it wasn’t quite ripe enough...
