All these idol ocs are really cool. ughh, I posted my own unfinished sketch and I just. Is feeling like your art is shit normal?

Yes yes it is trust me !! The reason artists feel like their art is “shit” is because we are constantly comparing it to other people’s work!! And that’s something that we shouldn’t be doing because it may be unmotivating for some!

But anyways, it is completely normal for you to feel this way, trust me. I feel this way anytime I post ANY of my art. HOWEVER, if this is how you feel, all you can do is keep practicing and keep repeating the techniques that you believe will make you better ! This is the best way to quickly improve your art if you think it is not good as it is right now. Idk how advice works so I’m sorry but I hope you understand what I mean :))

(Also side note, it’s okay for unfinished art to be a little “shitty” hehe. It’s unfinished after all!! )
