Ah- well.

As someone who has significantly heavy bleeding, use one size bigger than the actual bleed rate to prevent overflow and slow the amount of times you need to change. Painkillers, heating pads(Either the animal, plush, or technology, any of em works), have plenty of liquids within reach. Maintain distractions to keep mind off it as well the best you can. Dark chocolate is also your best friend in heavy bleeding cases. Also, if the bleeding stops for a time, DO NOT TRUST IT, it could strike back with a vengeance if you're not 100% sure it's finished. You know it's done if there's no remnants of old blood for at least one day after it stops.
