...Im just gonna start to actually write this shit. Like, the plot, story and envoirement design and everything else are done. I was going to try to do a sprite animation of sorts but I dont have the time nor the talent. Hopefully there are people who are still interested in this.

Attempting to explain World of Darkness

Ok. So….. vampires… werewolves…. They all real. Yep. And they are friggen NUTS. There is also a world order like illuminate that tries to control everything and vampires are everywhere and there are people fighting them and there are magicians who are not the typical pointy hat and robe deal they more like REALITY BENDERS….. NO THAT IS NOT A JOKE. World of darkness is insane really. And I haven’t even been able to even play it properly sadly. I’ve only been able to get bits and pieces from a group of ttrpg players who make animations in a very interesting style. I only just found them in like 2020 when the lockdown happened and boi was it worth to sit and watch at the time. The group is so funny and they surprisingly make efforts to explain a lot of stuff. But copyright bs happened so they had to can a couple projects but world of darkness came up, and honest to god I thought it was just some original scooby doo kinda thing but as I watched more the lore was surprisingly deep. I’ll show a video from them as they are funny and seem to try to support alot of unheard of ttrpg. Aka table top role playing games. Something that’s like dnd but. Surprisingly different. World of darkness in itself is a bit more darker and edgier in terms of setting. A meta-like gothic horror thing. Not to a insane degree or whatever, it’s just if you like scary stuff with alot of blood, it’s your time of game. But what really brought my attention was the MAGE sub series. Apparently mages are people who have “awakened” thanks to their own “spirit guardians” known as AVATARS. What they look like is literally up to you if you choose to play this game. Unfortunately I’ve only been able to skim the surface of this book. As it’s ALMOST 700 PAGES LOOOONG. And the most crazy thing about it is when I started reading it, it screamed at me about my Big Mac and flat screen tv, WHICH I WAS BOTH EATING AND WATCHING AT THE SAME TIME AS I READ IT! XD That alone sets the tone from this book. And it’s definitely informative. Of course again I only skimmed the surface of this thing and I’m no expert. Call me a… new Apprentice in this series. Surprisingly it’s a lot easier to work with unlike DnD (no offense to all DnD lovers here ^^) it’s sheet alone doesn’t focus too much on numbers and instead uses dots and d 10s. I think the best way to describe how the game works is that it’s more creative story focused rather than major math gaming. So you have a lot more freedom in decisions with your character such as if they could do something they an expert on rather than rely on numbers with a d 20. Of course there are still dice rolls and some form of math works in the game but it’s more of 2+2 rather than 6x10÷30-4 sorta mathematics. So it’s easier for newcomers to try and start. Again I’m no expert and I’m only saying a bit of what I remember. So here is the video that I watched to help me understand a bit more.

Bit of a warning, there lot of swearing, many strange imagery, and just… a bit of gothic horror as I said. I’m pretty sure I’m wrong about a lot of things so here is the deal. DO NOT TAKE MY WORD AS GOSPEL IN THIS FRANCHISE. I’m simply repeating what I have seen and/or remember from this series being talked about. So I don’t know its full history or its many previous editions or even the other books. The only book I’ve been trying to get into is Mage: The Ascension. At least it’s most recent 20th edition. Where it’s most mundane people in life find out the world ain’t so mundane through “Awakening”. It’s like Isekai but instead of going to another world, you’re in your OWN world and it’s more fantastical than you think. Still anything I say here is still an in progress thing as it’s hard with my short attention span to focus on reading this whole book. Even though it says I don’t have to BUT I WANT TO. I’m sure there are things I missed that are important and that there are more capable people understanding this vast setting that’s a rollercoaster into hell. Yes hell. Hell is real space is fake. No I will not explain that cuz even I don’t understand X…D in any event I wanted to explain before I post my OWN MAGE’S AVATAR, who I had the honor of being made by one of the major artists for this production group. I’ll @ her when I post it, she really sweet and super talented.

Anyways that’s all for my nerding. I’ll post the image later. As I said I have no real knowledge or education of this setting, I’ve only seen and heard the possibly major basics. It honestly seems kinda fun to me. If I ever find a group I’ll probably try it. But thought I would explain it before I show the pic, cuz again when you see it, it will be really left field. But I thought I’d show in order to promote the artist’s work. And many friends said I should explain so here what I know. Anyways much love and bless all. ^^ Stay safe.

Somehow I only just realised that Pumpkin has an outline just like Chara does. Or, well, the version of Pumpkin that is in the current point of the comic. 

That made me wonder: is Luci’s mood ring outline something specific to them? 

If not, is there a reason that the Muliverse Citadel version of Pumpkin also has an outline/mood ring?
