An unfortunate circumstance.
Part of loss is moving on. A lot of you probably saw this coming. Please allow me to explain myself. This is very wordy. By this point, I'm really kicking myself in the butt. When I started this blog, I had many great things in mind -- and I do yet have them. However, the plausibility that I may express those great things becomes ever more scant. At this point in time I don't really feel that it's... worth it for me. It's selfish, I know, but it's the blunt and honest truth. Art is supposed to be done for oneself, and by extension so should a story/ ask blog. But I wasn't doing it for me, I was trying to please others. The intrinsic value disappeared because of falsely perceived external stressors -- I've been afraid of disappointing people this entire time. And school has been rough. I'm double majoring in Humanities and Studio Arts. There's a lot of things happening in my life: I went from utter stagnation to full kilter with nigh nothing in terms of acclimating myself. To top things off, this blog is just over two years old now, and barely anything has gotten done. Perhaps the most important factor is that. . . well. I'm sort of burnt out on pony-related stuff. I haven't the same fervor for the IP that I did back then. I still like it, but there's that caveat. Because I've been burnt out for a while, my motivation has been shot for this blog. Subsequently, my posts are irregular and generally sparse. Plus. I've started feeling disheartened with my personal art from this blog. The amount of people noting, sharing and so forth, started making me feel like people didn't like my art because it was my art, but because it pony-related. It felt like I was using the fandom like a crtuch. The 3/5ths compromise of art exposure. This blog will remain open, but I renounce any claim of regularity. I simply don't have the drive. Any posts relating to the story subsequent, if at all, will be all-text, because that's something I can do quickly To those of you that stayed by me. Supported me through each OOC BS post about this or that. To those that showed continued or even renewed interest once I came back, and to my surprise, new fans: thank you. I can't express how grateful I am, trivial as it might seem. Is this the end? Probably. I refuse to lead anybody on anymore. If I start another ask blog, it's going to at east be a character of my creation, even if it's another IP. It's been a great learning experience, friends. And if you read all this, you're great! =w=;; Thank you, and it's been fun while it lasted. --Rhia'
