Sparky@Kalmata: *Gear gets tossed to the side as the young 'mon trudges in.* "Master Kalmata! I'm back!" *Finds himself a spot to flop down, but his head and ears keep alert, looking for the old Ninetails.*
The Ninetales eventually comes to greet the young ‘mon from deeper within the cave with a hot cup of yache berry tea. “Welcome back young one, how went your expedition?” He asks, setting the cup of tea on the floor infront of Sparky.
Sophie: ... You're here to atone for misdeeds? Oh no, what did you do? Why'd you do what you did?
“Long story short I placed a horrible curse on a young ‘mon who will have to live with it for the rest of their life and ran far, far away, unable to face what I’ve done.” Kalmata states as his voice begins to quaver. “I never meant to hurt anyone, I was young and foolish and had little knowledge of how my powers worked at the time and hurt and innocent pokemon because of it.”
@Kalmata: The Typhlosion approached the Ninetales, his back lit ablaze as a way of keeping himself warm as much as possible. He grinded his teeth, clenching his fist in reaction to the amazingly cold environment. "Y-you... Why... Would you choose to live in such a place? Are you mad or am I just speaking to a ghost taken by the mountains?"
“Good question.” Kalmata looks up into the sky. “To put it simply I live here to atone for my misdeeds as it puts me in a good position to help other ‘mon. As for the next question I can’t really say, perhaps both are accurate.” The snowy ninetales laughs, a clear and mellifluous noise. “Maybe I was too busy helping others to notice I died so I keep haunting the place thinking I’m alive!”
Sugar: Why'd you make your home up on a mountain? Isn't it, well... cold?
Kalmata smiles and speaks gingerly. “I make my home here so I can help others who get lost on the mountains and I drink yache berry tea to help fortify myself against the cold, aside from that I also have a hot spring I can use to warm myself if needed. Speaking of which all my guests have free access to the spring.”
Zander: "Good day to you, lord. How are you doing? If you don't mind my asking, what kept you around a place like this?"
The ninetales bows his head in respect to the houndoom. “I am doing well, good ser and I must say that is a bit of a story.” He seems to sigh sadly and somewhat wilts before you, but quickly recomposes himself. “Let’s just say I have to atone for what I’ve done… Now is there anything else I may do for you?”
Nalusa@Kalmata: "Your mountain? You are only one 'mon. How do you enforce your will over this place? How do you protect all this space from interlopers?"
“Well typically the ice pokemon that are native to this region leave me well enough alone due to my heat, foreign pokemon I guide up or down the mountain with my Will o’ Wisps.” Kalmata frowns. “And for some select few I guide them into the open so they can freeze like they deserve.”
Fuzz: what do you do in your mountain ma'am?
“I protect it from the wicked and care for the lost and unfortunate who find themselves here. I also maintain a hotspring and offer yache berry and energy root tea to help keep other ‘mon on their feet.” He answers simply, his tails flourishing behind him as he speaks. “Would you care for some?”
A bit nippy out here even for a fire type who's been in the Northlands eh? Even so, I have braved the cold and the danger of the mountain in order to seek your advice wise Kalmata. I offer in payment this labradorite stone, which contains the colors of the northern lights. Is this acceptable payment for your wisdom?
The peak is strangely warm, compared with the harsh blizzards of the mountain. “You making it here was more than enough payment, please make your self at home and ask away.” He smiles softly at the Growlithe and shows them into a surprisingly comfortable cave.
I'm glad to find another who is fond of yache berry tea, though it's a bit more of a necessity where I live.

“Oh? How lovely, I wouldn’t mind having a sit down with the three of you and having some delicious Yache Berry pastries while getting to know you better.” The ninetales gives a soft smile. “Anyway, it is my honor to make acquaintance with the two of you.” Kalmata bows his head graciously.
W-where am I? And why is it so cold all of a sudden...? Maybe a better question is who are you?
“Tch! Isn’t it only polite to introduce yourself before asking someone their name? Ah well, no matter. I am Kalmata and you are on my mountain.” The prim, blueish furred fox pokemon states.
