um so hey first time kinda yeah i took a break from cod so maybe its a lil outta character and its not realistic but um yeah !! i actually had an intention here but i scratched it to save myself from secondhand embarrassment and i just redid stuff idk this is A TEST !! ⋆
The instructions were clear; stay in pairs, and stay as low as you can...
Soap was with Ghost, Price with Nikolai and Gaz with Cat.
"I think that was the last of 'em" Cat softly breathed out into her comm, briefly distraught, perched on the balcony pointing her gun at a dead man, while Gaz just came back from the floor above
"We can't be sure. Keep your eyes open." Price retorts through the comms.
"Upstairs is clear. " Gaz calls out to Cat, who turns around to see him.
In just a heartbeat, before Cat can even mutter the words watch out, one of the cartel members appear from where Gaz came from, gun in his hand.
By instinct, she fires at him before he can pull the trigger, which she succeeds to do, but the man defies her and in all the frenzy of gunshots manages to lodge 3 bullets to her upper thigh, then drops dead, Cat simply leans on the railway of the balcony, clutching the rusty poorly painted log of metal, but she eventually sits down. When she does, she automatically grasps her leg. The pain feels like it's rocketing through the rest of her thigh, and she can feel her heart beating harder.
She clicks on her comm "I'm hit!" and with the help of Gaz limps until they reach a dusty couch.
"Gaz, get her patched up." Price says, his tone sounded gruff through the comms.
"On it."
Gaz drops to his knee in front of her in search of a tourniquet. "I'm fine." she susurrates, trying to ignore the pain in some way. "You call that fine? Price'll have my head if I let you walk out like that." he retorts. Cat chuckles at the comment.
He wraps it around her and ties it tight, Cat softly grunts at the pressure, but keeps her hand on the wounds.
"This is Gaz- I've got a casualty, three-rounds to the upper thigh. Request combat medic to our position."
The comm on the other end seems to be cracking to life, the combat medic replies and he has thick finnish accent. "Roger, Gaz. I'm en route to your position. Keep pressure on the wound."
"They're on their way. Stay with me, yeah?"
Cat winces, her eyes flutter and her head lolls to the side despite her effort to just stay awake.
"Hey, eyes up here, yeah?" He grabs her shoulder stiffly.
She groans.

It's been a full 20 minutes, the medic is here.
Cat is hanging on by a string. Staring at the wall, doused in her own nausea from the pain to the point she took most of her head gear off. Gaz is trying to keep her conscious, but the best he can do here is talk.
"Aaron?" She lifts up her head from the headrest of the couch.
"Hello." He crouches by the sofa, right in front of her, his medical briefcase (or whatevr its called!!) on the coffee table
"Alright, I'm done here. Price wants me to help them make sure there's nothing we missed. Stay safe, yeah?" and with that, he grabs his gun and heads out the door.
Cat was somewhat glad Gaz left. The whole ordeal was quite embarrassing, or maybe just awkward.
"OK... get your hand off. we're gonna have to keep the tourniquet, and then I'm gonna try to to disinfect it. But first, I'll give you some morphine, for the pain.."
Cat can't help but just nod slightly
He shuffles in his kit too look for the morphine injection, and make sure the dose is right.
Once he finds it, he offers his hand, signaling for her to give him her arm.
He pulls up her sleeve, disinfects where the needle is, and with not really any warning puts the syringe in, a sharp pinch followed by a shudder.
He chuckles. "Feeling better already, huh?" this make Cat grin.
"OK. Get... your. Uh. Leg. On the sofa. Flat... if you can."
She does as she is told, but slowly and wincing all the way through.
Aaron exhales, rolling the sleeve of her pants with ease, and begins to disinfect her wound. It only hurts a little, the morphine hasn't fully kicked in yet.
"Evac.... 30 minutes." he swallows.
He finishes disinfecting the bullet wounds, and wraps it neatly in bandage, then closing up his briefcase.
"You'll be fine. You won't even need surgery to get the bullets out."
Cat puts her leg down carefully to sit upright, Aaron in turn grunts to get up and sits beside her and lets out a deep sigh.
Aaron wants to break the silence, deep down he values every interaction with her, even if it's completely stupid
"Ah... How did you... get injured?" He grins nervously, his lower back slouched and his legs sprawled in a somewhat appropriate distance.
Cat pauses. She's not the type of person to give sarcasm at these given moments, she always thought it was cruel. " I had just taken a guy down. Someone came from upstairs unexpectedly-- i shot them but they still managed to pull the trigger."
Pretty nice! Don't see them often, except for my mom and sister. The only person I would say I, like, don't have a good relationship wiiithh would be my dad, but he's irrelevant to me, so.

I don't really know what happened, but I know part of it was probably because I didn't check up on her because I didn't have any money at the time. So, she turned out to be a stillborn.

Hard question, I'd probably put it away somewhere and slowly spend it, would leave it to my mom if my tank gets blown up or I get shot. I'm happy with my salary.
Yeah, well we all got somewhat tongue-tied. Reminds me of when i completely forgot about the word "the", and I knew what I was planning to say to people didn't sound right, so I just refrained from talking the whole day.
