Happy (Late) Fourth of July! I would have said something yesterday, but once we got down from Sleepy Peak, I went to bed.

Success!!!! He liked the date!!! He didn't take my food... Or like hiking up Sleepy Peak but!! He liked the surprise at the end!!! He talked about light pollution and how you could see the stars and fireworks way better away from the city, but I'm just happy I made him happy. Happy Fourth, guys! I think I have planned the best date night ever!!!!

1. Give Neil some of my breakfast

2. Stay with him alllll day

3. Take him on a hike for "star observation" (See the quotes?)

4. Have a picnic on Sleepy Peak

5. Stay there until the sun sets

6. Watch the fireworks away from everyone else!!!

I think this is a great plan!!!!!! 😀
