Shane sighed in reluctant acceptance.

"...Fine. Uh. Chickpea, Beakley, Gretc-hen, and, Chuckle Cluck. Happy, you Chuckle Cluck?"

The insult didn't hold as much distaste as it usually did. Perhaps there was even a bit of humor in it.

Shane crossed his arms and lowered his head down, debating whether or not telling you would be worth it.

"...If it's because you're planning on getting a kid of your own, don't. Marnie does most of the work, I can barely see the kid in-between my job and... everything else. It's not like I chose for this to happen, just some shit luck.

"Just. Don't. Okay?"

Shane grumbled to himself for a moment, weighing a free game ticket against being forced to go with you.

He grabbed a couple from the top, and tried one. It was delicious. Dammit.
