Will you keep doing more of these?
(Ok, explanation time.
Firstly, I am sorry for not posting something about this sooner. That’s unfair of me, and you guys deserve to at least know what all’s going on here.
To be quite honest, I am hoping that I’ll be able to do more of these. I keep thinking that I’m about to get a chance to work on updates, but then life keeps happening. Right now, I’m at a point where I simply don’t have enough time to work on these updates. I’m planning to move out of state soon and I’ve got a job that is making me work a couple hours overtime everyday (with a pretty long commute to boot). But that’s not the main reason why I haven’t had time.
All my life, I’ve wanted to be a writer. When I went to college, I majored in screenwriting, only to figure out that the movie industry is far, far too restrictive to be what I want to pursue as a career. But I knew that I wanted to write for a living. So, I’ve come to the realization that I personally need to pursue a career as an author instead. It’s a very laborious endeavor, but I’ve come to understand that it’s what I truly want to do with my life. And so, I’ve been working on honing my skill in writing. Not only that, but I’ve also been working on a fantasy novel (involving a snarky dragon and a super cool magic system!). After all, I need something to get myself started. I’m still in the prewriting phase, and I don’t want to go into much detail (for a few reasons), but it’s been a very involved process for me.
I’ve rambled long enough. The long and short of it is that I hope I’ll be able to continue these eventually. Possibly once I’ve moved out, gotten settled and found a new job. In the meantime, I simply can’t. I hope you guys understand. I love doing these. They’re so, so, SO much fun to draw and get feedback on. But I just need to work towards other things right now.)
