💝(Samanosuke's gift) This gift sort of flew in by itself. It was a violet deadbeat that looked like a Polterpup from Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. This was a Pupbeat, a ghostly dog version of a Deadbeat It was adorable and very friendly with a note. It read:"If you ever feel lonely, this little guy will keep you company. He's very well behaved and his name is Comet. Enjoy, from Samanosuke."
Star is incredibly flattered, and mildly overwhelmed by the two gifts. He thanks the two of them profusely as best as he physically can.

The sounds of shouting could be heard throughout the neighborhood. Twistor Coil was minding his own business when a bunch of punk looking men had blocked his path. There were 10 in total and each one armed with a weapon. They probably thought he was some rich kid since his clothes seemed to be really expensive from their custommade look. People had already fled during the confrontation though he didn't know was that he grabbed someone else's attention.
Star came to a halt when he heard the nearby fighting, glancing over from where he was idly half-phased near Jotaro as he did… Meditation? Something Holly recommended for stress… Whatever it was, he wasn’t presently focused, so he took the time to completely phase into existence and float his way over, peeking over the fence-line in confusion. He paused when he noticed the flashy person and the other guys - muggers, by the looks of it - fled from the scene, several of which seemed bloodied and bruised from the encounter with mister mystery myriad of mystical lights man- God, that was hard to say even in his mind.
He frowned and quickly went through the fence with his teeth bared and a quiet growl rising from his throat, already giving off several warning chirps to the newcomer with his fists raised and his stance poised for whatever the other might try. “Ora, Ra ra!” He snapped towards the other, trying to grab his attention as the growling grew louder from the stand.
Star let out a screech when he was suddenly being assaulted by the other again, looking up blearily in pain and struggling to stand back up while cringing away guiltily at the other’s words. Admittedly, he did get distracted easy, but it’s not his fault he has more eye cones than a human. He just sees far more colors than everybody else does as a result. He managed to push himself upright unsteadily, before falling over again almost immediately in pain as he steadied his breathing as best as he could. And here I was, thinking we were done fighting for the moment. Star managed to push himself upright and standing again after several moments, barely getting his breathing under control as he reached up to tug on his scarf nervously while trying to focus his eyes on the other again.
He let out a shaky exhale, glancing away towards his feet again and reaching up subconsciously to tug on his scarf gently, before pausing when he felt his hands brush over the star Samanosuke gave him. I wonder how he’s doing… That’s not important. The stand righted himself with a small frown, focusing on the other again and squaring back up with a soft growl, starting to regain his determination from before.
The star started flashing as if responding to Star’s determination and will. A phantom image of Samanosuke appears in front of Star that only the Stand could see. ‘Know that you are never fighting alone. The spirits of your friends and partner are always by your side! Shine bright Star Platinum! Brighter than the sun itself!’ The phantom Samanosuke spoke encouraging him while offering his hand to Star.
He paused and stared at the phantom figure in surprise, glancing over when he didn’t see Mirror responding, before reaching over and gently taking his hand into his own. Without warning, as soon as he came into contact with the other, the area around Star began to swirl with purple fire, before sprouting up and covering the stand entirely, He jolted and looked around in confusion and fear, before relaxing almost immediately. He felt the heat all over his body, but didn’t feel singed or hurt, and gradually began to calm down as he experimentally flexed his arm, noticing the new, rib-like patterns crossing down his arm.
This is… Very new! The stand thought to himself with a small twinge of worry, before facing Mirror again and slanting his eyes as he started to feel the weariness and pain from before dissipate quickly, being replaced with newfound energy and motivation. After taking a moment to fully regain himself, he launched towards the other, immediately starting to barrage the other with swift punches.
Twistor was caught off guard by the sudden change in his opponent before being on the receiving end of Star’s punches. They were much stronger and faster than before as he found himself sent flying. One of his arms felled limp showing it was temporarily disabled as he got up. “Battle Bond? Wasn’t expecting that.”
I have literally no idea what that means, but sure. Star decided to just go along with it, making his way closer before pausing with a small frown. I’d rather no kick him while he’s down… I have a feeling helping him up would hurt his pride more than anything, though. He settled for looking more at the flames covering himself, before taking a moment to look at the new markings some more. This is pretty cool, actually! I need to visit Samanosuke and thank him!
Twistor’s arm had reset with the small time that passed. He smiled sensing Star’s honorable spirit. “I’m having fun. Been a while since I’ve enjoyed a good fight. Your strong I’ll give you that. How about one last attack? Agree and I’ll tell you about the power surging through you.” He was willing to be fair.
He paused, looking at the other in surprise before nodding, and offering a hand to help the other up if he needed it, but making no move to help him up immediately in case he wanted to move himself. One more move? I mean… I can punch him again, I guess, but something tells me I should do something else… I’m not sure what, though.
A memory flashes through Star’s mind. It was a memory of an attack no doubt from Samanosuke. Emperor Hellstrike seemed perfect from the memory of the move shown and looked quite powerful.
He stood there quietly at the phantom memory, quickly coming to a conclusion as he waited for Mirror to get back up before doing anything, and backing away to give him proper room as he readied and poised himself, watching as fire started to center and turn a deep indigo around his hands as he prepared and mentally recounted thee ‘memory’ of his.
Twistor got up sensing Star ready to unleash a powerful move. He prepared himself for the attack.
Star waited until the other was completely ready, and then let out a soft breath as he recalled the attack one more time. Too be honest, even by my standards it seems mildly excessive, but… It’s worth a shot! He wasn’t even entirely certain he himself was moving, but rather, it felt almost like part of his brain just went into auto-pilot, watching as some of the violet flames tore away from him before raining down from the sky as he quickly started to make his way closer towards the other.
He gradually broke into a full on sprint, with more and more of the fire surrounding him pulling away to rain down from above, before he gritted his teeth and clenched his fist tightly, pulling his arm back straight for the other and then finally letting go with a screech as he smashed his face directly into Mirror’s poor, poor face.
That attack hurt. A lot! Twistor was sent flying as a lot of dirt and dust was kicked up by the force of the blow. When the dust cleared, there was quite a surprise. Twistor was still standing although a bit bruised and burned but he had a huge sharp teeth filled smile on his face. He let out a loud laugh. “Man! This is the first time I’ve been hurt for so long! As a reward, here’s one of my strongest attacks!!” Twistor’s right arm compressed together to the length of a normal limb but from its small shaking movements there was a lot of force holding it together. He cocked his fist back three times as an image of a nail could be seen for each one before the last one as he leapt forward. “3 Fold Hytherion Spiked Punch!!!” He howled as his fist shot forward letting loose a powerful sonic boom from the speed. Instead of punching Star in the face, the attack struck three times at the same time an inch from Star’s letting loose three powerful gales though each a 2 second delay from the last that destroyed every fence and tree behind Star from 15 different houses. Then Twistor playfully flicked the stand’s nose. The fight was over.

I’d rather not be the one to explain all this gratuitous property damage… He thought with a frown, before turning back towards the other with a small, nervous frown.
“That was fun! So you are the Star Platinum Samanosuke told me about! I thought you were some asshole who wanted to piss me off! But that Battle Bond proved it! I could feel Samanosuke’s power flowing through you!” He was using his tail to stand while happily laughing not caring about the property damage. His hair was lifted up from the angle he was in revealing two pairs of insect like eyes with a spiral within them with one pair red and the other yellow. Though they beamed in joy than rage.
He stared at him in blank confusion, glancing back down at the crystal star that was tied into his scarf, and then back up to Mirror in confusion. Battle bond? And you know Samanosuke? I should probably visit him again soon… He thought to himself, before looking at his eyes in interest. Reminds me of Hierophant!
“Of course I know Samanosuke! He’s my teammate after all! Samanosuke and I are part of a team called Team Unity. We are protectors of sorts. Battle Bond is a power that can only come into action if a bond especially a strong one was formed between 2 others. Their power flows through the other creating a powerful transformation! Their forms change depending on the partner. That was what happened to you! Although this one was incomplete. It’s like you became one with Samanosuke in a way.”
He paused before giving a small nod, squinting as he tried to follow along before glancing back up to the other. Team Unity? And also, why? I’ve only ever met him the one time… He thought, reaching up to gently hold the crystal star, and then glancing down again. That does explain that weird memory I had, though…
“It’s what you did. One of his Deadbeats saw you built that shrine thing and pray for him. No one has ever done something like that for a very long time since he died. His original burial spot was destroyed when he was resurrected and no one cared to fix it. The Deadbeat told him what happened and he broke out in tears of pure joy. It was enough to strengthen the bond for the transformation. What you did for Samanosuke was appreciated by everyone on the team. You have everyone’s gratitude. I was sent to look for you to tell you that until those punks attacked me!”
He seemed even more surprised by that, perking up a little before flushing a faint gold in embarrassment as he glanced away. Ah- I didn’t realize… It meant so much to all of you, honestly! It just felt like the right thing to do, since I wasn’t sure where to find his grave… He admittedly silently in his head as he reached up to run his hand over the crystal star with a small smile and laughing softly. I guess I don’t really need to introduce myself to you then, huh?
“It’s okay and I am grateful for what you did for my friend. The reason why my form is like this is because of something bad that happened a very long time ago. If it wasn’t for Samanosuke then I wouldn’t be here. I also want to apologize for my words. I shouldn’t have said that to you. It was awful and you didn’t deserve it.” Even though Twistor is rough around the edges, he means well.
Star gave a small nod in understanding, smiling more and finally dropping his hands to his side again. I understand, you don’t need to worry. Thank you for helping me with this, Mirror… But tell me, why did they want you to come find me? Was it to explain the battle bond, or something else?
“Well. Offer than tell you that, some of my teammates are at a masquerade ball. My leader messaged me some interesting news! Her Persona Izanagi is going to propose to his boyfriend! Personas are like Stands but they are born from a person’s personality instead! She wants to tell you that you and your partner are invited to the wedding party! By partner I mean Stand-User but we prefer using the term partner since it feels like calling Stands attack dogs saying the original term.”
He hummed in agreement, frowning gently at the stands he remembered who had far less free-range than he did, before cocking his head at the concept. So… Just think of them like stands, then? He thought, before pausing at the mention of the masquerade ball. I actually think Jotaro has already planned to attend with his boyfriend, Kakyoin.
“Really?! Then you might be able to see it for yourself! Personas have a different way to propose to each other. They fill each others’ rings with energy before handing it to the other. When the rings are on their fingers, they glow and change forms engulfed by their elements! Lightning for Izanagi and Wind for Jiraiya! The more they love each other, the stronger the display becomes! It’s one hell of an incredible lightshow! It’s a way of representing a brand new chapter in their lives.” There was a grin on Twistor’s face.
Star nodded in understanding, smiling and purring a little at the thought. It sounds very sweet! Obviously, humans do their own thing, but when stands find the mate they like, they usually just… Get together? There almost never is some big, fancy display, since the only people who can see them are other stands, and users.
“Personas are a bit different since non-Persona wielders can see them just fine. Their way of proposing is an ancient tradition. It’s a blessing of happiness and love to those who see it.”
He perked up a little at that, flushing faintly at the thought and wondering if Hierophant was going to be out and around for the masquerade, before focusing on the other again. I’ll see about attending, though… I won’t be able to wear a mask or anything, since they’ll phase through me. Regardless, I’ll be there if Jotaro is! I look forward to see you and hopefully meeting the others, Mirror Beetle!
“Sure! Same here and call me Twistor or Twist if you want. You’ve earned it.”

He paused before giving a small nod, squinting as he tried to follow along before glancing back up to the other. Team Unity? And also, why? I was sent to look for you to tell you that until those punks attacked me!”

By partner I mean Stand-User but we prefer using the term partner since it feels like calling Stands attack dogs saying the original term.”

There were 10 in total and each one armed with a weapon. They probably thought he was some rich kid since his clothes seemed to be really expensive from their custommade look. People had already fled during the confrontation though he didn't know was that he grabbed someone else's attention.
Star came to a halt when he heard the nearby fighting, glancing over from where he was idly half-phased near Jotaro as he did… Meditation? Something Holly recommended for stress… Whatever it was, he wasn’t presently focused, so he took the time to completely phase into existence and float his way over, peeking over the fence-line in confusion. He paused when he noticed the flashy person and the other guys - muggers, by the looks of it - fled from the scene, several of which seemed bloodied and bruised from the encounter with mister mystery myriad of mystical lights man- God, that was hard to say even in his mind.
He frowned and quickly went through the fence with his teeth bared and a quiet growl rising from his throat, already giving off several warning chirps to the newcomer with his fists raised and his stance poised for whatever the other might try. “Ora, Ra ra!” He snapped towards the other, trying to grab his attention as the growling grew louder from the stand.
Star let out a screech when he was suddenly being assaulted by the other again, looking up blearily in pain and struggling to stand back up while cringing away guiltily at the other’s words. Admittedly, he did get distracted easy, but it’s not his fault he has more eye cones than a human. He just sees far more colors than everybody else does as a result. He managed to push himself upright unsteadily, before falling over again almost immediately in pain as he steadied his breathing as best as he could. And here I was, thinking we were done fighting for the moment. Star managed to push himself upright and standing again after several moments, barely getting his breathing under control as he reached up to tug on his scarf nervously while trying to focus his eyes on the other again.

I wonder how he’s doing… That’s not important. The stand righted himself with a small frown, focusing on the other again and squaring back up with a soft growl, starting to regain his determination from before.
The star started flashing as if responding to Star’s determination and will. A phantom image of Samanosuke appears in front of Star that only the Stand could see. ‘Know that you are never fighting alone. The spirits of your friends and partner are always by your side! Shine bright Star Platinum! Brighter than the sun itself!’ The phantom Samanosuke spoke encouraging him while offering his hand to Star.
He paused and stared at the phantom figure in surprise, glancing over when he didn’t see Mirror responding, before reaching over and gently taking his hand into his own. Without warning, as soon as he came into contact with the other, the area around Star began to swirl with purple fire, before sprouting up and covering the stand entirely, He jolted and looked around in confusion and fear, before relaxing almost immediately. He felt the heat all over his body, but didn’t feel singed or hurt, and gradually began to calm down as he experimentally flexed his arm, noticing the new, rib-like patterns crossing down his arm.
This is… Very new! The stand thought to himself with a small twinge of worry, before facing Mirror again and slanting his eyes as he started to feel the weariness and pain from before dissipate quickly, being replaced with newfound energy and motivation. After taking a moment to fully regain himself, he launched towards the other, immediately starting to barrage the other with swift punches.
Twistor was caught off guard by the sudden change in his opponent before being on the receiving end of Star’s punches. They were much stronger and faster than before as he found himself sent flying. One of his arms felled limp showing it was temporarily disabled as he got up. “Battle Bond? Wasn’t expecting that.”
I have literally no idea what that means, but sure. Star decided to just go along with it, making his way closer before pausing with a small frown. I’d rather no kick him while he’s down… I have a feeling helping him up would hurt his pride more than anything, though. He settled for looking more at the flames covering himself, before taking a moment to look at the new markings some more. This is pretty cool, actually! I need to visit Samanosuke and thank him!
Twistor’s arm had reset with the small time that passed. He smiled sensing Star’s honorable spirit. “I’m having fun. Been a while since I’ve enjoyed a good fight. Your strong I’ll give you that. How about one last attack? Agree and I’ll tell you about the power surging through you.” He was willing to be fair.
He paused, looking at the other in surprise before nodding, and offering a hand to help the other up if he needed it, but making no move to help him up immediately in case he wanted to move himself. One more move? I mean… I can punch him again, I guess, but something tells me I should do something else… I’m not sure what, though.
A memory flashes through Star’s mind. It was a memory of an attack no doubt from Samanosuke. Emperor Hellstrike seemed perfect from the memory of the move shown and looked quite powerful.
He stood there quietly at the phantom memory, quickly coming to a conclusion as he waited for Mirror to get back up before doing anything, and backing away to give him proper room as he readied and poised himself, watching as fire started to center and turn a deep indigo around his hands as he prepared and mentally recounted thee ‘memory’ of his.
Twistor got up sensing Star ready to unleash a powerful move. He prepared himself for the attack.
Star waited until the other was completely ready, and then let out a soft breath as he recalled the attack one more time. Too be honest, even by my standards it seems mildly excessive, but… It’s worth a shot! He wasn’t even entirely certain he himself was moving, but rather, it felt almost like part of his brain just went into auto-pilot, watching as some of the violet flames tore away from him before raining down from the sky as he quickly started to make his way closer towards the other.
He gradually broke into a full on sprint, with more and more of the fire surrounding him pulling away to rain down from above, before he gritted his teeth and clenched his fist tightly, pulling his arm back straight for the other and then finally letting go with a screech as he smashed his face directly into Mirror’s poor, poor face.
That attack hurt. A lot! Twistor was sent flying as a lot of dirt and dust was kicked up by the force of the blow. When the dust cleared, there was quite a surprise. Twistor was still standing although a bit bruised and burned but he had a huge sharp teeth filled smile on his face. He let out a loud laugh. “Man! This is the first time I’ve been hurt for so long! As a reward, here’s one of my strongest attacks!!” Twistor’s right arm compressed together to the length of a normal limb but from its small shaking movements there was a lot of force holding it together. He cocked his fist back three times as an image of a nail could be seen for each one before the last one as he leapt forward. “3 Fold Hytherion Spiked Punch!!!” He howled as his fist shot forward letting loose a powerful sonic boom from the speed. Instead of punching Star in the face, the attack struck three times at the same time an inch from Star’s letting loose three powerful gales though each a 2 second delay from the last that destroyed every fence and tree behind Star from 15 different houses. Then Twistor playfully flicked the stand’s nose. The fight was over.
Star watched in surprise when the other went flying away, standing there in slight confusion before jumping when the other recovered so quickly. He didn’t get the chance to object to his sudden decision, recoiling sharply with a yelp and quickly covering his head when the other suddenly decided to strike at him again. He stood there silently for several moments, before jolting slightly when the other booped his nose, squinting through one eye at the other and feeling the fire surrounding him quickly die down, and watching as the new patterns all over himself quickly dissipated. He forced himself to relax again once he’d shifted back to normal, giving a small huff of relief and looking behind him with a cringe.
I’d rather not be the one to explain all this gratuitous property damage… He thought with a frown, before turning back towards the other with a small, nervous frown.
