“Gonta, my sweetheart!” Teruteru immediately jumped into Gonta’s arms once the entomologist had entered the door, just barely holding back from knocking him over — and the egg in his hand along with him. “What a most joyous day it is, indeed! ‘n ya even went through the trouble of makin’ somethin’ for me!”

With a delicate hand, Teruteru retrieved the painted egg. “It’s too cute to eat, hon. Y’know, even though I didn’t really make ‘em for any special occasion, me ‘n Chiaki baked somethin’ today ‘n I wanna share it with ya. A lil’ somethin’ in exchange for yer thoughtfulness.”

With the egg still in hand, Teruteru jumped down from Gonta’s embrace and picked up a pan that had been left to cool off on a nearby table. “We made cinnamon rolls in the shape of snails! How cute is that, huh? Go on, take one!”

*He watches as the smaller chef brings out a pan filled with delicious smelling cinnamon rolls, he felt so touched by the sentiment that the gentle giant started blushing softly*
