Mati had been trying to bring 47 back to consciousness, but to no avail. She had been so concentrated that she hadnât even taken notice of Jayâs mental battle with Yashar until 47 had let out a shout of pain, her entire body jerking violently. What...? Had all three of them been connected?
Mati didnât have time to dwell on it because Jay was already rushing over, telling her to calm 47 down. The three-eyed woman honestly did not know of a way how-- 47âČs body was going through lots of pain, it would be nearly impossible to fully calm her. To their luck, it seemed after that roaring outburst, their friend had quieted down again, though she still looked just as terrified and pained.
When he suggested that they go back into the sky. It seemed like the best plan of action to her. Mati gave a curt nod, leaning back from 47 and saying, âLetâs do that. Youâll have to carry her.â She looked down at her left arm, or lack thereof.
Yashar winced when a powerful wave of psychic power had been shot back at him. Skilled, that boy was. To think such esper abilities were going to waste, and here he thought he could pit the two brothers against each other. A shame, really.
The demon returned his attention to the presence, evading another spike lance from the older brother, green eyes narrowing with frustration. He didnât have time for this, for he knew that the other two would try to stop the tedious process of him fully awakening his blood and stopping his mental control over Eris. Yes... Eris, a wonderful name.
He lifted up more rocks from around him. There wasnât much else to throw in these desert banks, but rocks were solid and painful enough. Wearing a wild grin that dripped with amusement, Yashar called out to his opponent, âIâm afraid Iâll have to tie this up very soon.â
Which would give out first, Yasharâs psychic abilities, or this manâs spikes? If he couldnât land a proper attack physically, then Yashar just had to manage to slip past the physical and enter the mind...
Yes... this could work too, he smirked. It never hurt to try... after all, this man wasnât an esper like his brother.
Where was she...? It was so dark.... She hated the dark. Why was it so dark?
Her thoughts felt so hazy... like she was dreaming. Where was she last? At her home right?
47 opened heavy eyes, unable to remember what had happened last. The feeling was a familiar one, as she had felt it several times in her life before. What had she learned it was from...? A name began to form in her thoughts. Y...ash..ar... Yashar...?
And then, all at once, reality slammed into her, driving her alert. Looking around frantically, things she had been too hazy to notice before began appearing showing themselves on the walls and the floor around her.
Her blue eyes widened in panic and shock, her chained feet began to get covered in the thick, black ink around her, the liquid creeping up her body and seeping into her skin. It hurt. It was like it was trying to take control over her, overtake her.
âNo...â She whimpered weakly, too shocked to do anything but stare in horror. Her eyes slowly trailed upwards, her entire body filled with terror when she took in all those green eyes on the walls of her jail staring at her. Yashar!
--âEris... you are Eris...â They whispered, âLet go...â
