((the text bubbles covered it most of the time but here's a truncated "Shepard's Bizarre Alien Family Portrait" from the last comic. Not Pictured: everybody else I couldn't be arsed to draw.))
Don't even get me friggin STARTED on replicators.

((Thanks for the question, stephen-of-borg! Special bonus apologies to sttngfashion for borrowing a joke. If you aren't reading Fashion It So, then I don't even know what you're doing with your life.))
How any Shepard can stand that insufferable turd-licker is beyond me.
For a guy who keeps calling Shepard "Mommy," he's surprisingly sophisticated when it comes to emotional issues.
I don't remember any "Leviathan" thing, but I distinctly remember the "Adventure of the Screaming Head."
His three favorite things are commitment, changing himself, and explosions.
((Sorry it took so long, oldmanyellsatcloud!))
Inter-galactic creepy-crawlies. Menaces, every last one of them.
((ASIDE: Welcome back to Ask Abrasive Tali! I'm going to try and get two of these out a month, usually on the weekends. I'm still getting myself back in the habit of drawing, and I'm trying to give myself some time to get back into the swing of things. Thank you all for your patience!))
Okay, let's talk about where Ask Tali's been
tl;dr: ask tali's back. AGAIN. In May. Ish.
so
It's been a looooong time since the last proper post on this tumblr, and that's been mostly the fault of a lot of things. Last time I made a post, I was in the middle of grad school, I was engaged, and I had way more free time.
Since then, I graduated, got my MFA in Creative Writing for Media. From then til my wedding last October, my life was mostly filled with job hunting, planning my wedding, and, since it was a destination wedding, planning a separate reception back in Indiana once we returned from the honeymoon.
You may notice that I'm definitely not an "artist" by any stretch. I do alright, but it's mostly something I do for fun. See, I'm a writer by trade and by study. And I'm working on establishing myself in the gaming community. My thesis was a game design document, and it's an avenue I've always wanted to pursue. And there's just not much of a market for that in Indiana. Neither is there much in the way of the hobby gaming industry, which has always been my husband's forte. So, shortly after the honeymoon and the reception, my husband and I flew out to Seattle to try and find work and an apartment in the two-week span we had booked in a hotel.
Well, that worked, actually. He got a job, and I flew back to Indiana. In five days, I had packed up our lives, he flew back, and together, we packed up the car and the cats, set out stuff out on some moving pods, and drove cross-country to the Pacific Northwest.
It's been a while since that happened, and it's taken until now for me to sort of settle. I've been slowly trying to work my hobbies back in while I do freelance work and look for something more steady. And I'm finally at the point where I can start drawing again. I did very little of it in 2013. I had no time, and the stress was to the point where, aside from occasional videogames and movies, I had very little energy for anything that was creative.
But now I'm working that back into my life. I loved drawing Ask Tali comics, and it was a great reason for me to draw on a regular basis. I've still got ideas for some of the asks that have been sitting in my box for over a year.
So let's try this again.
I'm going to work Ask Tali back into my life, and I hope you'll share it with me. Watch this space next month, probably about twice a month, as Tali answers your weird questions and tries to avoid all the ones about which one of the girls would win in a mud-wrestling contest.
Because that's dumb.
You're dumb.
I'm terribly out of practice, and it'll take some time for me to get rolling again, but I hope you'll all bear with me. Your attention sustains me, and you're all fantastic. Thank you for sticking with this silly little comic ask blog for so long.
Hugs and kisses,
-Annie
Valentali’s for Valentine’s Day.
Tali hates you all.
'nuff said.
Hey, Internet Acquaintances! So I am going to be at New York Comic Con next weekend! My good buddy Narwhallo and I will be hanging out there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and we’ll be cosplaying our own versions of Garrus and Tali at least one of the days while we’re there. I’ve been to big cons...
((Rebloggin from my main account.))
((Here is a question to make this post answerable?
I think I preferred the crayon "art."
I hear that his backup talent, Knowing Gavorn's Tricks, went over pretty well.
Duh.
OOC: Oh, uh, hi
OOC AHOY:
((Oh god, sorry about the super long absence, guys! I've moved twice over the past few months and started grad school, so getting shit together has been a LITTLE difficult. But I do love drawing these and I'll try to actually update. At...times.
Thanks for your patience.))
