☁ child au's omg or threads from the past lord help me i need them all
Eola turned around, eyes getting wide when she saw the other person. She held her hands behind her back, stepping conspicuously in front of something to hide it.
“I didn’t do anything!”
The clatter of falling bones behind her, however, said otherwise.
“The right song?” Her eyebrows creased together and she wondered if she had misunderstood. “You sing to them? That is… Different…”
Mya’Dar followed after her, deeper into the crypt and hopefully closer to something fun. “Is Helvetia your ah… fado… Uhm… Parent? Parents are never good at finding things, they do not know to look in the small dark spaces.”
There was a lot of new words for her to wrap her head around today. She knew about the Reach and had visited it very briefly and she knew about High Rock too, but Reachmen were new to her. “If you are Reach man then I like them!” She declared after a moment, grinning toothily at her new companion. “They must be better than the rest of the people here. I do not like them much.”
Eola’s eyes got wide, and she grinned at Mya. “No, no, she’s not! She’s--” The girl paused, thinking. “... she’s an Imperial. She came here to teach, I guess. Runs this, uh, school... orphanage... thing.”
She looked down, a frown on her face and a look of not-so-well-hidden resentment. “My mom dropped me off and never came back."
She looked over at the other child, a small smile coming back. “But you know how to hide in the small dark places. That’s good. Dad used t’ say Namira likes kids like us. He said it’s because we’re small and gross, and she likes that.” She laughed, then looked at Mya with sudden interest. “Who do Khajiit worship? Do you have the old gods?”
‘The Mummy’ Sentence Meme
I’ve dreamt about this since I was a little girl.
Compared to you, the other plagues were a joy!
I am proud of what I am.
Any last requests, pig?
Oh my god, I hate it when these things do that.
It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Is he supposed to look like that?
You’re wondering ‘what is a place like me doing in a girl like this’?
By the way, why did you kiss me?
No harm ever came from reading a book.
And you think this justifies the killing of innocent people?
Well, you probably won’t live through it.
Everyone else we’ve bumped into has died. Why not you too?
That’s called stealing, you know.
The only thing that scares me, [NAME], are your manners.
Death is only the beginning.
Are you sure you want to be playing around with this thing?
i lie to everyone; what makes you so special?
I only gamble with my life, never my money.
Well, of course I can swim if the occasion calls for it.
Do something! Do something!…Not that! Not that!
You always did have more balls than brains.
It’s better to be the right hand of the devil than in his path
You know, nasty little fellows such as yourself always get their comeuppance.
What friend? You are my only friend.
…I don’t want to tell you. You’ll just hurt me some more.
This just keeps getting better and better.
Personally, I think he’s filthy, rude, a complete scoundrel. I don’t like him one bit.
Well, he may have been a stinky fellow, but he had good taste.
He said he was ‘just looking for a good time.’
What do you suppose killed him?
Did you ever see him eat?
You probably could have gotten them for free, all we had to do was give him your sister.
Stupid superstitious bastard.
I thought you said you didn’t believe in all this fairy tales and hokum stuff!
Forget it! We’re out the door, we’re down the hall, and we’re gone.
I told you not to play around with that thing, didn’t I tell you not to play around with that thing?!
Do you really want to know, or would you prefer to just shoot us?
I appreciate you saving my life and all but when I signed on I agreed to take you out there and bring you back, end of job, end of story, contract terminated!
Ok look, you can either tag along with me or stay here… and try to save the world! What’s it gonna be?
Hey! Get your ugly face offa her.
There is only one person I know that can possibly give us any answers.
After what I just saw, I’m willing to go on a little faith here.
How about you darling, would you like a little kissy-wissy?
Take my hand and I will spare your friends.
He will never eat, he will never sleep, and he will never stop.
Oh, for heaven’s sake, girl! It wasn’t that good of a kiss.
Can you look me in the eye, and guarantee me that this isn’t all some kind of a flimflam?
This door doesn’t open. She doesn’t come out, and no one goes in.
He must have been someone of great importance. Or he did something VERY naughty.
That happens a lot around here.
They’re led by a woman. What does a woman know?
What do you mean bugs? I hate bugs!
His neck did not break! Oh, I am so sorry. Now we must watch him strangle to death!
Time to close the door.

Eola turned around, eyes getting wide when she saw the other person. She held her hands behind her back, stepping conspicuously in front of something to hide it.
“I didn’t do anything!”
The clatter of falling bones behind her, however, said otherwise.
“Chasing rats I can do! I do that at home, it’s like a, uhm… Zahb?” She struggled to find the right word in Cyrodiliic. After a moment she just shrugged and smiled. “Fun, yes? I do not play with fire much but I would like to try.”
Seeing the girl back as a solid figure again her smile widened and her eyes glinted. “I definitely like treasure. And I’m not scared either! I have fought angry things before, dead ones are not much different,” she let out a snort of laughter. “Stupid and slow, just like the alive Nords in town.”
Pausing in case she had offended her new friend to make trouble with, Mya frowned. “Wait, what is reach man? I don’t know those people.”
Eola grinned happily at finding a ‘student.’ “It’s not so hard. Just have to find the right song.” She tugged on the Khajiit’s sleeve and started further into the crypt, giggling at the description. “Yeah, they’re stupid and slow alright... Even Helvetia’s pretty stupid sometimes, and she’s not even a Nord. Bet she doesn’t even know where I am.”
At the question, the girl jabbed a thumb towards herself. “Reachman’s me! I’m a Reachman! All the native people of the Reach, we’re all Reachmen. Not like those Bretons up in High Rock. We’re better.”
[Closed] City of Beggars (Ma'Jaara)
Hagravens. The taste of young birds.
Ma’Jaara was starting to get the feeling that Eola wasn’t your average citizen. Even still, that was no reason to be rude. And Ma’Jaara was nothing if not a lady.
“Hm. I see what you mean. I-I enjoy a bit of fowl from time to time as well.” Though it is usually full-grown.
Eola smiled faintly, looking up at the woman, then held out her hands, again the beggarwoman. “I have been known to eat fowl things,” she said, grinning at the pun. “But I see your life is comfortable. And how often do the comfortable look upon the wretched and beggarly?”

Vistha frowned deeply, recoiling at the prospect. “Neither of my mothers would ever feed me people.” He said, sounding deeply offended.
However his irritated expression faulted, and his face softened slightly. “I’m sorry if that was too personal.” He said quietly.“ He glanced away for a moment before. “Namira.. That’s a daedra, right?”
Eola nodded, and flashed him a smile. “Mine would. But I would be lying if I said my upbringing was... usual.”
Her smile faded slightly, and her voice took on a muted tone, speaking as if from a memory. “Yes. Namira, the Spirit Daedra, Lady of Decay and the primal dark and all the wretched and forgotten creatures of the earth... A Lord of the Daedra.”
He tilted his head to the side, his brows furrowing as he looked intently at the woman who had been following him. There was something so incredibly familiar about her. Gwayncalon took a few steps towards her, pulling his hood back as he did.
“You…do I know you?” His dark blue eyes focused on her face, searching it for some kind of answer. All he could manage to do was rack his brain as he tried to place her face to some kind of event from his life.
“I know many, but few know me,” Eola answered, taking a few steps closer. He did look vaguely familiar, now that he mentioned it, but so did half of the Reach by now, she was so used to watching people from hidden places. “A child of the Reach. A spiller of blood in the name of the Old Gods, yes-- you might.”
No, the more she studied his face, his voice, the more he was familiar. She had spoken with bim before. The trick was remembering where, and in what context.
“And where do you hail from, then? Broken Tower, with its bloodied altars? The slopes of Karth Gorge? The City of Stone?”
That was it. Distant, almost. She had seen him in Markarth, heard his voice there. Now to narrow it down even more...
[Closed] Old Friends
Gwayn let out a loud laugh, throwing back his head and causing the hood of his cloak to fall back a bit. “Ya think I don’t know that? Odeth knows more about my time here than I do ‘cause ‘o Muiri.“
He scooted his chair back and stood, a silent agreement that they should leave. Anything would be better than the watered-down horse piss the Silver-Blood Inn tried to pass off for ale.
Banning chuckled, and downed the rest of his ‘horse piss’ ale before standing up. “Well, that’s what you get for disappearing... Gossip goes around. We’re lucky, you can even catch Cedran and hope he’s in a god mood.”
He began to lead the way out, looking up and sighing at the air as they exited. Hogni was still there, with his meat cart, so he tried not to meet the older Nord’s eyes. He looked back at Gwayn and jerked his head for the man to follow, before leading the way out of the city.
“Don’t worry, I won’t ask what you’ve been doing. You want to tell me, that’s your business. Just don’t get a lot of old friends here..."
Expression practice time! I’ve seen similar memes around, but I just wanted to stick to expressions, so I made my own. Be sure to tell me which show/comic you want the character from or else I’ll just do whichever tickles my fancy.
e.g. If you wanted Megatron from the IDW comics snoozing :
IDW Megatron 7C (or C7 I’ll figure it out ^_~)
Throw ‘em on in! Also, it doesn’t have to be Transformers.
The summoning date of Namira is 9th of Second Seed, or May 9th, will you be honoring the Lady of Decay?
// Like for a starter!
“I’ve seen better. Well, maybe not.”
Banning crossed his arms with narrowed eyes. “You’re right ‘maybe not.’ These are the best wardogs in the whole province. Loyal, vicious, good with kids, and all of ‘em are healthy and strong. Best protection you can get out in the Reach.”

“If these ruins frighten you, take comfort from the knowledge that I am here.”
“Look at that. Am I drunk? I must be drunk.”
“Perhaps we should find a random stranger to murder. Practice does make perfect. ‘
” My cousin is out fighting dragons. And what do I get? Guard duty.“
"What is better - to be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?”
“ I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow in the knee.”
“I’ve seen better. Well, maybe not.”
“Either I’m drunk, or you’re naked. Possibly both.”
“You do not even know our tongue, do you? Such arrogance, to dare take for yourself the name of Dovah!”
“ I’ll see you burn!”
“ That’s the last of them.”
“ Kill the beast!”
“ You never should have come here.”
“My favorite drinking buddy! Let’s get some mead.”
“Enough!I will not stand idly by while a dragon burns my hold and slaughters my people!”
“ You stink of death my friend. I salute you.”
“Whoa, whoa, watch the magic!”
“Who needs the bastard?”
“PUT SOME CLOTHES ON YOU FOOL!!!”
“I saw a dragon!”
“"Mage, eh? Well, to each his own.”“
“I am sworn to carry your burdens.”
“So, you wish to master the arcane arts.”
“I’m not a man, I’m a weapon in human form. Just unsheathe me and point me at the enemy.”
“We’re one of the same kind, you and I. I’m happy to have met you.”
“I’ve got your back.”
“You won’t get the best of me!”
"I’ve never seen anything quite like that.”
[askeola]
Gwayncalon continued to trek up the steep path to Broken Tower Redoubt, looking over his shoulder for the tenth time since leaving the city. A flash of red or brown would just leave his field of vision each time he looked. It was obvious he was being followed, but he couldn’t tell by who or what.
He turned around, facing the direction he thought the blur had gone in. His hands want to the axes tied to his belt as he looked around, dark eyes scanning the surrounding hills. “I know you’re here!”
Eola had been tracking the stranger for a while, now. Banning had said he was acting suspicious, and suspicious men were, well... interesting to her. While she had heard all of Banning’s theories--each wilder than the last--they were slowly whittling away every step she followed him. When he headed towards Broken Tower, she almost felt hopeful. A worshiper of the Old Gods? This suspicious stranger might be amenable to her flock. When he shouted, she paused a moment, then stepped towards him out of the brush.
“And what will you do now that you’ve found me, hmm? Try to fight, perhaps? Warn me off?” She gave him a small smile. “You lead an interesting chase. Albeit, not as exciting as I had hoped for.”
[Closed] Old Friends
His brows furrowed as Banning’s grin grew wider. Even after so many years he couldn’t escape the rumors about his parentage. Gwayncalon opened his mouth to speak his displeasure, only to slowly close it as his friend’s mood grew somber.
He leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his curly locks as he looked over to the fire. Gwayn watched the embers in silence for a moment before finally speaking up. “Remember him a little, can’t say I was close to him though…” His voice trailed off as he continued to watch the fire, contemplating the news he had just been told. Finally he spoke again. “You of all people should know I hardly had friends.”
Banning nodded, letting out a slow sigh. “Aye... I remember. Good news is, most of our old ‘friends’ are dead, or worse. Ones that aren’t probably don’t care enough to pay any mind.”
He scratched at his hair as he thought, thinking it over. Sure, it had been a while, but catching up in the tavern was maybe not the best idea... Not with the sorts of things he’d been doing these past years, and what he guessed Gwayn had been doing.
“You want, we can always take this back to the stables. Get some real food and mead instead of this watered down crap.” He paused, then grinned. “Yer old girlfriend’s still around, too. Maybe you oughta swing by the shop, say hi.”
