"Great, it looks nice and comfortable." Steven gave the other a smile, he got into the drivers seat, waiting for Spinel to get into the car, before starting to drive off toward the road out of Beach City.

Spinel sat in the passenger's seat, and after a few minutes of struggling, she managed to buckle the seatbelt. She didn't see the point in it, but she had seen Steven do it so figured out she needed to do the same.

“So..how long will it take to get there?"

"Oh, it'd take a few hours. Empire City isn't that far away." Steven replied with a smile as Spinel's buckled in. "But we can listen to music or play games in the car till we get there if you'd like."

Steven had choosen to keep Spinel's innocence intact, he'd explain it later if the need ever arises, which he deeply hopes that it wouldn't.

He blinked, "Well if clothes are fun to make then i'd say follow your heart, Spinel... and alright I'll ahh.. give you some privacy." He replied heading toward the car.

“I'll be right back!” Spinel exclaimed as she quickly walked back to the house to change into a more fitting outfit.

A few minutes later, she was back, wearing a blue sleeveless tank top, and blue shorts. She had kept her normal shoes, assuming they add everything needed in the place they were going to. She didn't really have her own pair anyways.

“I'm ready"

"I mean I was thinking of stuffing a pillow under your shirt... but people might get the wrong idea." Steven replied. "Eh, I got healing powers anyway so I've got you covered if you get hurt." He smiled.

“I don't see what's wrong about not wanting to get cracked." Spinel shrugged.

"Alright, I'll be back in a bit, I gotta change out of these clothes." She said, tugging at her sleeve for emphasis.

"Would be easier if they were light clothes... But the clothes I'll wear to go to empire city will be because these are my only organic clothes. Do you think I should make more? They were pretty fun to make."
