He snatches the bag in the air, and swiftly pockets it. Then shaking his head out of refusal, he steps in front of her and begins replying in a calm, soothing tone while making hand gesture along with his speech, lowering himself to her level. 

“Listen, I’m not innocent. I’ve done some pretty fucked up things in my life as well. You’re not the only one. I believe you deserve to be happy despite everything that happened, because compared to what my people have done on the surface, you’re a saint, Midnight. Stop hurting yourself like this. If you don’t like the lifestyle you choose, then choose a different one. It’s never too late to change.”

“If I could change, don’t you think I already would have? I didn’t take this life. It took me the day I was born. It said, ‘these are your cards. Now deal.” 

The Feline monster would sigh as she thought about it, simple letting the thought drift in the air.

He observes her demonstration indifferently. Even though he’s expressionless, his eyes stay lockdown on her womanly leg until she walks by him, caressing under his chin with her tail which earns a questioning furrow eyebrow, and pursed lips. 

“I see… So, it’s all about being charismatic to close the distance, then proceed to pickpocket the person while they’re ogling over your body… Alright now, hand it over.”

He holds his hand out. It only takes Tyree a brief moment to notice it’s gone. How could he not? The bag is quite hefty with coins.

The bag is tossed back, the feline more than proud of herself.  “Ofur course mew can hustle other ways too. Lying, stealing, cheating  and conning  mew’r way through life is another way to do it. -- But... “ 

“Living the way I do isn’t a good thing. It’s.. honestly the worst thing mew can do. So, yeah, don’t do what I do, kit. I’ve done a whole lotta bad things to get where I am. Mew’r still young.. so.. maybe stick to being honest and happy, yeah? Don’t worry about the likes of me. I’ll get alone fur the most part. “

A little PSA - about 'intimidation'

// I don’t think people realize how much it hurts when people say they are too intimidated to talk  or play with another roleplayer. Personally -  it makes me feel unbelievably shitty. Like I’m in this ‘popular position with a crown on my head.’ I never wanted that, for anyone to feel like I would ridicule them or feel like they weren’t good enough to interact with me. And I don’t want that. Ever. I want everyone to be welcome to playing with me.

Some of the people I want to play with the most are too scared to talk to me and that hurts more when you watch them play with others and you have to remember that you are a terrifying presence and - they have to find another of your character to play that they aren’t intimidated by. Then you just feel replaced in a way - because I’m not scary and I try so hard to be welcoming to anyone who wants to plot or play or write a starter, send a meme, forge a friendship. By the end of the day you feel pretty fucking lonely because you’re on some pedestal not to be touched- and you never wanted to be on that. It just really sucks to be left out and not have close friends or awesome plots and development because they see themselves as so low and you feel like you scare people off.

Intimidated is NOT a compliment. I get annoyed and really hurt when people constantly tell me they feel like they are bothering me, when that’s not the case at all.

It’s really horrible when people say you are ‘popular’. Because suddenly you’re seen as unattainable. Suddenly everyone is afraid of you and no one dares approach you like they used to because they’re intimidated or something else. People come to you and follow but they never do speak to you, no matter how many opportunities you present.

You’re popular in numbers, yeah, but you might as well be covered in white paint and pressed against a wall. What’s the point of even having followers if hardly any of them even approach you?

PS: “You’re the best “insert character here”, “You’re better than—”, “I’m unworthy to rp with you” and “You’re so good, I don’t know how to respond” followed by never responding are not compliments. They’re actually, in my eyes, insults and the cause of my random depressing fits every two weeks when I want to RP with everyone only to get THAT as my answer.

 She brings her hand down, lifting the fabric of her sweater to reveal more of her leg. She’s covered in fur from head to toe, but, she knows how to work with what she’s got. 

“Then.. When mew’ve got their attention...” 

She walks past Tyree, Brushing her tail under his chin and holding up something. It’s .. a bag of G? Where did that come from?   “Mew get them while their hooked. “

“Are you sure? Your way of life may be difficult, and I could teach you how to fish, and prepare it for cooking. Like my grandfather always say,”You give a poor man a fish and you feed him for a day. You teach him to fish and you give him an occupation that will feed him for a lifetime.”

“Listen, kid. I know how to hustle my way through life. Been doin’ it since i was a kit. I don’t need mew’r help. Okay?” 

She’s being stubborn, but she is telling the truth.  “There’s a reason I ain’t with anya-one right now. Besides. my well being is none of mew’r business. “

-Tyree approaches Midnight once more, but this time his demeanor and posture is sluggish.- "Yo, just finished a two hour jogging session. What have you been up to, friend? Singing and dancing on stage as usual? Making the crowd swoon over you?"

“I don’t sing on-stage anyamore. Shattered Glass closed a while ago. I just wander and sing nya-o.”
