Schlatt x college student!reader

My very first attempt to write a fanfic, please be nice. English is not my first language! I'm more than aware it's probably full of grammatical mistakes, but I refuse to use AI to check for any errors.

It was pretty late when Schlatt got back home after filming a new video, just to find you sleeping in the living room instead of your shared bed. You were curled up on the couch with notes and pens around you, holding a highligher in your hand under your chin like your life depends on it.
Schlatt made an amused huff before he crouched down next to the couch and gently ran his hand through your hair to coax you awake.
"Hey, I'm home." He whispered once you slowly cracked your eyes open. "Come to bed."
You protested with a groan, stretching your arms out which caused you to get ink on your chin from the highligher. "I still need to finish this chapter. I only rested my eyes a bit."
"You were sleeping, toots." He laughed and gently tugged on your wrist to get you up from the couch. "Come on, it was enough studying for today."
You finally got up and rubbed your tired eyes before you gathered your pens and notes to put them on the coffee table in a somewhat neat pile.
"Hold up." He stopped you before you could make any steps towards the bedroom. "You have highligher on your chin." He licked his thumb and started to wipe down the ink before you could react. "Okay, ew."
"What do you mean "ew"?" He chuckled and pulled you closer to his chest to press sloppy open mouthed kisses all over your face, obviously to make you laugh. He could always make you laugh. "Okay, okay, let's go to bed."
Once you settled for the night did you realize how exhausted you truly were. His strong arms and soft body enveloping you brought the comfort you craved so badly all day. Once you laid your head on his chest he mumbled "my clever girl" against your hair followed by a gentle forehead kiss for good measure. This was the confirmation you needed to know: you will not fail.
