  After they made love

A few hours later.

The young man woke up and he sat up on his bed letting a small sigh escape from his lips he was trying to piece together what just happened and how it had happened. He looked over to his left and he saw Jenny laying in bed next to him with the covers over her body and it just came back to him the two were together they made love in Kyle’s bed room and the teenager had no idea how to even react to this he was happy that they did this it’s just he feared things might become strained for them once you mix sex in with your friendship you never sleep with a friend it’s not a good idea and Kyle just made that happen with Jenny and he didn’t regret it.

Moving his hand over the small of her back Kyle touched it and he smiled to himself watching the sleeping beauty in his bed with a sense of wonder and caring for her. It was late when the two got up and he had to get her back to her home before her sister freaked out and really wouldn’t let them see each other after this. Kyle wouldn’t allow that at all he had to get her home some how some way.

Tapping the girl to get her attention Kyle pushed the covers over him and he looked at the sleeping girl clearing his throat to speak to her so he could tell her they had to go before anyone found them here together he wasn’t going to let her get caught because of him. He had a girl come over and broke Harvey’s rule about no one being let inside this home without him knowing otherwise and even if he did he would never let anyone come into the home out of fear they would find out too much and start to question things and that he wouldn’t have.  Watching the girl as he saw her start to move Kyle moved his hand away from her and he took a few moments to gather his thoughts together to form a  sentence to say to the girl.

“Hey Jenny we need to get out of here my dad might come home soon and hear us together and I don’t want to get you into trouble with him or have your sister hate me even more for having you home late because I like spending time with you and being with you like this but I can’t let you get hurt because of me. I want us to be together a couple I mean because I like you a lot but I’m scared that things have changed because we were together like this. Please tell me they haven’t changed. I can’t take that I care too much for you I’m not good with relationships and this is all new to me. I just don’t want to fuck things up like I always do.”

His voice was low as he got up from the small bed and walked over to a bag by his bed and grabbed from it his underwear, his jeans, a black long sleeved shirt and his sneakers and started to get dressed slowly. Grabbing from a bag near by he took out his baseball cap and put it to the side before looking at Jenny once again. The idea of having a girlfriend was scary for Kyle and all he wanted was to make her happy and to show her that he was a good person and he was able to make someone happy and let them love him. This whole thing made no sense to him but he was going to try for her and if he could do this than he would know he can be normal once and for all and he wanted to be normal and he hoped he could be.

Jennifers eyes slowly fluttered open to the sound of Kyle's voice. She sighed softly trying to understand what he was saying since she was just dipping back into consciousness. His hand felt good on the warm skin of her back. She smiled softly closing her eyes again. She pulled the blanket up around her body so she was covered. She didn't want to leave his bed. She didn't want to have to go back into reality. She lay on her bed watching him softly.

She never wanted to leave his side. The comfort she felt at that very moment, she wanted to feel forever. Kyle protected her from all the bad in the world. And she helped him be good. She didn't want to have to face Bela or go to school ever again. She looked into his eyes and put a hand in his short blond hair. 

"Run away with me"

She heard what he had said. But it all sounded trivial. She didn't care about anyone else except him. The thought of them together on the road seemed like a fantastic dream. She could get Kyle away from his lifestyle and she could be far away from the hell she was living.

  Desiree rolled her hazel hues and stretched out her legs, her nails tapping along the side of the glass cup she had in her hand. “Unless it’s really shitty sex. Then, you’ll wish you made the smart choice.” She replied, raising the glass to her lips.

Jenny shrugged. That was true. She watched the woman. She fascinated Jenny. "So tell me more about this immortal thing you've got going on." She winked.

  Maia was taken aback by the question. No one had ever asked her that before. “Well, I was born here and I’ve lived here my whole life. My parents made this lake.”

"Its just a lake" Jenny said shrugging. "Shouldn't you be happy people want to swim in it?" She studied the girl.

  Desiree arched an eyebrow as she saw Jenny eye up one of the gawking men. “Really? You’re going to go for him? Right, because you guys are doing the dirty, you really want him gawking at you like some deformed eagle.” She shook her head, her nails tapping on the counter. “It’s awesome. There’s nothing really like it.”

jenny smirked. She winked at the guy before turning back to Desiree. "Hey, sex is sex." She said raising her glass as if to toast. She smirked at Desiree's answer.

Jenny crooked her head to the side. "Yes" She replied bluntly. Her British accent was coming through. "And what makes its your lake?" She asked. She was familiar with supernatural creatures. She just didn't realize she would find one so randomly.

  Maia resurfaced and glared at the woman. “I’m Maia…and what are you doing in my lake?” she growled.

"I was just taking a swim" Jenny said wary of the girl but regaining her confidence. "I didn't know anyone owned it" It wasn't an apology it was just a statement to her.

  Maia stared her mouth agape. She was swimming in her lake. Without permission! Maia clenched her teeth angrily and lowered herself in to the water and swam towards the stranger. Once she reached the woman, she tugged on her leg, pulling her underwater so she was eye level.

Jenny watched the girl in horror. She wasn't a great swimmer and when she felt something pull her down she could only think of drowning. She looked at the woman who appeared out of no where. "What.. Who are you?" She asked in shock.

A week later || Jenny and Ben

Jenny paced in the Sheratan Bathroom in her small hotel room. She covered her mouth in anxiety. The bathroom was too white for her content, the florescent lights blared throughout the tiny room. She finally sat down on the toilet trying to calm herself down. had it been two minutes yet? She looked at her phone. 9:05 am. it had been enough time. She carefully took her shaking hand and flipped over the pregnancy test. a faint + sign stood on the test, mocking her.

She was pregnant. 

Her eyes swelled with tears. A muffled sob came through her mouth. She covered her eyes with her hands and let herself lose control. This couldn't be happening. How could she have been so stupid. She had a dangerous job, there was no room in her life for a baby.

And she loved her job. She didn't want a child. Tears soaked her hands. She was in shock and disbelief. She stood up and ran out of the bathroom. She dived into her bed and curled up, hugging herself. She couldn't believe this was happening.

Her pale cheeks turned a rosy red and her eyes were a puffy pink from crying. Once in her life, she didn't know what to do. She had no family to tell.

Ben.

She bit her lip crying even more. Should she even tell him? It wasn't even his business. But it was his kid. Maybe the baby would be better without a father who slept with random women in shady motel rooms. But then you could say the same thing about the mother. Jenny didn't want to tell Ben, She really didn't. He might take control and make things worse. But she had to tell him.

She got her coat and practically ran out of her hotel room. A part of her hoped that Ben was already gone, that his business had taken him to some place else that she would never be able to find. She wiped her tear stricken face. It was obvious she had been crying but she tried to hide it. 

As she got to the motel room which she remembered to be Ben's She knocked three times.

Maia was seeing how far she could skim the pebbles, when she heard  footsteps behind her. She looked around wide eyed before diving back in to the lake. Maia hid behind one of the rocks beside with only her shoulder’s and head sticking out of the water. She watched curiously as the stranger approached the lake.

Jenny walked to the water in her bikini. She honestly felt self conscious so she when to a part of the lake that was secluded. She dipped her toes in the water. She smiled. It was cold but refreshing. She laid her towel on the  land and waded into the cool water. It made her happy. She needed to relax.

  If Ben were being honest a small frown appeared on his lips at hearing she was leaving, but he disposed of that frown and replaced it with a smile “Okay. Not a problem.” then she got a very smug grin, all in good nature though. He was busy putting his shoes on when he heard her speak again, he turned his head around to look at her, a smirk forming “I’ll be sure to check in then.”

Jenny smiled at him one more time before she exited his motel room. Damn, that was a good night. She just wished her headache wasn't so constant. She sighed and walked back to her hotel room in the same clothes she left in the night before.

  “They can. I would know since I have gotten drunk many times before. It’s pretty great.” She shrugged. Her eyebrows the furrowed and she turned her head to face the men that were watching them. “You know, if you take a picture, it’ll last longer.”

Jenny smirked playing with her drink with her finger tips. She was a little tipsy. She eyed one of the men, he was kind of cute. "So what is it like being immortal?" She asked curiously. She knew it was a stupid question.

  Hearing Jenny wanted to be with him Kyle letting her go moved over to the door and he locked it so they wouldn’t be disturbed by the other kids or worse Harvey. No one came over Kyle’s home and he just felt that having someone here was a dangerous thing to do. But he wasn’t going to kick her out of his home just because he was afraid someone would find out about them being together. He wanted to do this and see this through it was important to them connecting and being together and Kyle was afraid of messing this up like everything else in his life that ever came close to being good.

Setting the shirt down onto the ground Kyle walked over to his drawer it was a small drawer and he took out a condom and he held the unopened condom in his shaking hand and he tried his best to breathe in and out and calm his already frayed nerves as he looked at the beautiful girl on his bed. She was so beautiful and he wanted to be with her and spend his time with her. Making his way over to the bed Kyle bent down and removed his boots and set them down onto the ground by the bed and he looked into the eyes of his best friend as she laid  down on the bed hiding herself from him it made Kyle want to see her and touch her and know how she feels when she is with him. He was afraid of everything but now he finally found something to be strong for.

“I’m ready to be with you Jenny. It’s just I never made love to someone before sex is something I was always used to being with someone and having it mean shit the next day they would be gone and long forgotten. Your not someone who I want to forget I want this to be real and right. ”

Keeping his voice low Kyle walked over to the counter and he put the condom onto it making sure that it would be ready once they decided to make love. As he made his way over to the bed Kyle laid down upon it and he had  took his right hand and ran it over her cheek stroking it tenderly keeping his beautiful eyes rested on hers as he watched her with wonder he wanted to be with her and he just hoped this was meant to be for the both of them.

Jennifers words escaped her. She didn't know what to say to him, or she was just too nervous. She let his hand caress her cheek soaking in the warmth. She tried not to look at his body, she would only make herself more nervous. She took her glasses off and placed them on the table. 

She couldn't believe just this morning David had harassed her. that only an hour before she told him she loved him in a janitors closet. It seemed like forever ago. She never wanted to leave Kyle's side, she didn't want to go to school, go back home, she wanted to stay with him forever. 

She uncovered his sheets off her body, inviting him in. Kyle carefully climbed on top of her fragile body, careful not to put too much weight on her. She looked up into his eyes, and focused on them. She let her fingers touch his chest. She leaned up to kiss him. She started taking off her bra.
