They say time heals all wounds, but emotional wounds are somewhat of an exception. Emotional wounds don't heal on their own. You need somepony else's help, sometimes.

Magic can't make it go away - no magic can. There's an old fairy tale I know, about a pony who hated being burdened by his heart and his pain, and tore it out. He lived the rest of his life in misery and killed the only pony who ever loved him. Magic only made things worse.

Eventually, your heart will heal. You may not know it, but there are people around you who nurture those wounds with their own love for you. Don't overlook them.

Though, do be wise about what you say. A poem can melt the heart, but may be overwhelming to some - you know this mare well, think about how she would react, but don't feel like she'll be upset with you.
