Could you tell me about what it’s like living so small? Is there a fairy culture?
It’s stressful. We’re easily frightened and always alert because of predators. We’re very easy prey because we’re so small.
I wouldn’t say we have a ‘culture’. But there are other fairy kin and we’re pretty close knit. We’re like a family, really.Â

I’ve never seen a fairy like that. How do you communicate with them, though? If they can’t speak, then wouldn’t it be hard to get along with them?

I don’t really communicate with them, but I think they can sense feelings. Like, reading an aura of sorts. I can only get a tiny grasp of how they work after spending my childhood growing up around them, I notice their flight patterns and how it seems to correspond with their moods! It’s all really quiet fascinating. Sorry, I tend to ramble at these things.

But it’s also kinda scary. I think I’d faint if I saw one in real life.

No, I don’t mind. It’s actually really scary. Everything’s bigger and stronger than you and it’s just really frightening. And we’re really sensitive, so we have to be careful around certain things.
But it is fun. We’re free and don’t have to worry about laws and such tying us down. And that’s the great thing about being a fairy.
Wow, that does sound scary! Sensitive? Like, you can feel heat and cold better than, say, a normal human? That’s pretty neat. I’ll try not to harm you, heh.
It does sound fun, I can’t leave the forest I live in. Do you have any, say, magical powers? Some creatures I’ve seen have expressed abnormal doings.
Basically, yes. We can feel heat and cold ‘better’. Though, I wouldn’t call it a good thing. And some of us are gifted with magic powers. I happened to be gifted. It’s not strong, but it’s good for convenient things such as healing and such. But nothing too powerful.
That’s really cool! Do you have an unlimited amount or do you have to wait awhile/do something to gain it back?
I haven’t really used my magic much, so I don’t know….
I have used it once before, but…my magic isn’t that strong.
