Winten: Assault Vest isn’t the best antivirus, especially since it does disable a few subroutines while it works, but it’s the go-to antivirus for Porygon-Z since Eviolite doesn’t work for them.

MUNPOST: State of the blog.
I’ve been having two rather large issues with keeping this blog up and running.
-Lack of asks. This is an ask blog. Unless I go on a giant purely-story arc that I have zero plans and motivation for, I can’t update the blog without at least one ask to reply to, and I rarely get them- I’ve already asked for more asks twice, and I absolutely hate clogging up the blog with that. Part of the problem might be the fact that my art style for Winten and Buntu is, even in my opinion, laughable- it’s literally just ellipses in Paint.Net. I wouldn’t be surprised if, for every 1 of my 22 followers and every 1 question I’ve gotten, there’s 40 people that’ve passed it up because who wants literally MSPaint level porygons on their dashboard, especially with alternatives like @askgng or @leavannyn-oskar with their amazing art? Nobody. Which brings me to my other problem.
-Lack of motivation. Although the story of Winten and Buntu hasn’t yet gotten off the ground… I’ve lost the motivation required to GET it off the ground. I don’t really want to continue, because… I’m hitting a sort of “what’s the point” style barrier, especially when surrounded by peers whose art is so much better than mine.
I’m thinking of going to go on a bit of a hiatus. I wouldn’t be leaving Tumblr, though, and the ask box will stay open on the off chance that someone asks me a question. The problem is… I’m not sure if I’d come back.
I guess what I’m saying is… I need a bit of help. Send me advice, or words of encouragement, or something? I don’t know…

I’m honestly not exactly sure what else to say here, except that I’m going to continue. Next post will probably be today, if I can get everything back together.
...In other news, I hope ol’ Shocker Thundrago doesn’t mind being dragged out of the bin I’d shoved him in for a few years and being fed a thunder stone. I kinda needed a pokesona for the pic up there (as well as future munposting, although I plan to keep it to a minimum), and what’s more fitting than an old, abandoned for several years pokesona with an evolution tacked on to symbolise all the change that I’ve gone through since my Pikachu days?

Winten: How do we look? Also, two things related to the blog itself. The first is that we’re once again out of asks, so please keep them coming! The second is that this is our thirteenth photoset! I hope nothing bad comes of it...
((OOC: And thus begins my first actual, non-filler story arc that will hopefully launch the rest of the story I have planned. And yes, that’s a malware classification like that used by antivirus companies and not an actual filename. Mainly because viruses don’t usually have filenames.

Buntu: Some say the strongest are selected by Designer Gaben himself to guard the files of Half-Life 3. I wouldn’t know, since I haven’t personally met any VAC pories, and I’d like to keep it that way.

Winten: Kinda off-topic for the blog, but we’re fresh out of asks anyways.
Buntu: I mean, we do have a bunch of half-brothers and sisters, since our mom is a ditto, and, well... let’s not get into that... but as far as we know, we’re the only porygons of the bunch.
((OOC: Insert “404 error” joke here. I won’t lie, I was originally all for turning this anon into a magic!anon and making a third Pory brother. He would’ve had a Timid nature and would shy away from the camera and everything, explaining his absence. My reason for NOT having such a character? After the break.))
Winten: It’s a good thing you can’t damage a virtual controller or virtual screen by throwing said controller at said screen. Otherwise, Buntu would’ve gone through quite a lot of them.
((OOC: Fun facts: Turns out Undertale’s font is a mixture of 8bitoperator and Fixedsys- with a modified version of the latter being the font I use for Buntu and Winten’s speech!))

Winten: I decided on an edited version of the “Windows 98″ theme I’d found, to make it look like an old version of Silph Co.’s PoryOS operating system. (Click the start button, it works!)
It may not be the final theme of the blog (I’m still not 100% happy with it) but it’s better than Redux!
Finding a theme is a nightmare.
Winten: Well, I found a theme I kinda like because it fits the theme of the blog, but... it shakes things up TOO much, and still doesn’t have things I need (like, say, quick-page-jump buttons and showing the icon of the blog itself somewhere).
That and it honestly doesn’t look great on its own.. I think I may have actually taken a step back.
I don’t want to switch back to Redux though... could’ve sworn it had quick page jump once upon a time...
Buntu: Oh, and Porygon can be bred, too, but the offspring is different from the original in multiple ways.

Buntu: I... I don’t get it...
Winten: The issue... and, well, danger... with living (or being inside at all) on a desktop or laptop computer is, well, the computer shutting down on you. We may be made out of computer code, and we CAN create backups on disk (which we do, of course), but usually we exist in the RAM, which doesn’t usually persist after a shutdown. And you have to be manually brought back from a backup, which doesn’t happen if there’s nobody around who knows you need to be brought back. Kinda dark, I know, but that’s one of the risks of living in cyberspace.
Winten: ...Also, being in the physical world is a tad uncomfortable. We’ll do it, but I don’t honestly think I can withstand living in it.
