hello there, i am from czech rep so i didn’t know in the first moment too. for example, when there are two people who share one package of biscuits and there is just one biscuit left and one of those people calls dibs, it’s like he declares that this bloody biscuit is his.

As an American I have to point out that the “biscuit” is what we call a “Cookie”
