"We have been in minecraftia for a long time, but not many remember us, now is your chance to learn. Call us the Pumpkinheads." The Pumpkinheads have been around for some time, but now the species is sparse and separated. Time has passed and some individuals have learned to survive in their solitude in the minecraft universe. Each have their own opinions of the past and goals for the future, so accompany them on their journey, and perhaps more characters shall join along the way! The blog isn’t entirely “finished” per say (good lord I can’t decide on backgrounds) but I figured if you guys like the art here you might like to see what other work I do, and how much I’ve grown since! I plan to make a link to this blog in the future on both my personal and this blog.

I’ve also been accepted to some art colleges, I’m just waiting on a few more that I think will come this month, and then I’ll start posting here again.

So you all deserve an explanation

The last time I had made a post on this blog, I had been really excited to announce my October event Octo-Memorias, but then obviously I've been quiet since.

I still entirely plan on doing the event, it's a really big plot thing for the blog, practically necessary, and I'm still excited to do it.

October had not ended up being a good month for me, mostly due to familial issues at home, and also school. I've been having to get on college admissions and for anyone that is in or has gone through that process I'm sure they can understand the stress of it all, and how it can be quite demanding.

After October, I celebrated my birthday at the start of November, and have since been fighting being sick- not incredibly so, but just enough to be annoying when I have other things to do.

With all of that, my computer has been in and out of the repair shop, which has been tedious.

I don't want any of this to sound like an excuse, but merely an explanation. I had made a promise to deliver content on the blog, and it was a pretty big event, so while I still plan to continue it when I can, it didn't happen when I wanted it to, so in that way I broke that promise- which is why I want to apologize for that.

However, I can see that in the time I've taken we've pushed over 200 followers, so I am really speechless, and I just want to thank you for staying with the blog, and welcome to the new followers! 

I really hope that you can understand why I've been taking time off, but please know I haven't forgotten about this blog in the slightest, I really just want to make sure my future is secure in terms of getting to college- and the best part of that is that it means my art and storytelling is only going to improve, which means more, higher quality content for you all.

Thank you for your understanding seedlings and sprouts, it means a lot to me that you all care that much.

Hello dear saplings~ For the month of october I take you back in time to discover the history of the pumpkinhead people! As you are told the story, we shall go on a journey through eight memories, all while letting the new characters answer your questions!

Making up the new cast is Scalvaro, Ardor, and Samoni, the mentors of the main cast, and joining them- Samhein- the king of the Pumpkinheads himself!

Apologies, dear Saplings

I can understand that you're all probably upset with my random, unannounced hiatus, but I hope that this simple explanation will suffice.

First off, the blog is by no means dead, I've been planning out plots and such when I can, but I've just been doing other things. 

Primarily the reason for my absence is that I've been focusing on filling out college applications, and have been doing a lot of traveling (the most I've ever had, actually) to visit those colleges, and I've actually met several tumblr friends along the way as well, who are my friends here and also run ask blogs (perhaps you'd like some pictures?~)

Additionally, I've been incredibly stressed over making a portfolio to get into art school, which I'm sure plenty of people can relate to. It's pretty much come down to me staring at it, saying "just do it....JUSTDOIT" and I've really just been having trouble, well, DOING it. I feel that it's just insecurity and not wanting to try because of fear it's not going to be good enough, you know, that whole "gosh this is going to ruin my whole future blah blah blah" deal. Also, school is starting up again tomorrow and I still need to get through my senior year as well as do all this college stuff. So even though I know exactly what's going on in my life, and what I have to do, that doesn't seem to be making it any less complicated.

My final point for inactivity is that this was a really interesting summer for me full of firsts, and I honestly just wanted to relax and enjoy myself, and sometimes this blog can be stressful, although I still find it incredibly fun. So, all those things put together resulted in this rather lengthy hiatus, and my greatest apology would be to you and not properly communicating it, so again, I hope this explanation is sufficient for you all. <3

I return seedlings! The trip went wonderfully, and now I'm back with a brand new banner for the blog!

To explain my lack of updates: I'm going to Europe! (Mainly France)

This trip has been planned for over a year, and I'm going with school friends instead of my family, and I've never been to Europe, so it's a really big step for me. In addition, France has always been somewhere I wanted to visit, ever since I was young, so I'm actually quite excited and scared at the same time, the experience as a whole is quite sublime.

So, I shall be bringing my sketchbook, hoping to get a lot of inspiration while I'm away- and I also will be vlogging it, for anyone that finds that interesting. I'll be leaving tomorrow afternoon, and be back on the 19th, until then my seedlings~
