I wanna know more about Clockbreaker
So before I talk about them have some context first: I have au called the TK variants where the amount of Timekeeper/Croissant variants we know about are increased (it goes beyond just Timekeeper, Croissant, Director, and Ruler)
Clockmaker is a very close variant to Timekeeper, only narrowly avoiding their fate. Because of this avoidance they had the time to grow and actually develop skills to help with their mental state by going to therapy.
Clockbreaker is an alternative to Clockmaker. What happened to them I haven't actually described very well which is a pretty big mistake on my part, oops.
So basically at some point Clockmaker is kidnapped after Ruler finally snaps after being alive in the time pocket for too long. They take Clockmaker into a timeline they accidentally destroyed (eradicated ALL live from) when they were still Timekeeper and couldn't control their powers as well.
So Clockmaker is in this hell now, this is where Clockbreaker is born. In one timeline Clockmaker is saved, in the other they aren't.
The Clockmaker that's saved adjusts back to normal life, the other is left there for months. They have to learn how to tap into their abilities (which they had been personally avoiding) to survive. They finally got out, but when they did they realized something.
They had split from Clockmaker, but their timeline didn't account for it. They have no timeline anymore, there is no place they can call home.
Since then they just wandered through time, lost. At one point they attempted to kill a Clockmaker to steal back their timeline but they convinced themself out of it before they could.
In conclusion: Clockbreaker is not evil just very very messed up, Clockmaker is just trying to VIBE, Ruler is the worse, and the Blessing of Time keeps ruining lives <3
Yes these names get confusing, there's also Clocktaker 😭.
