How do you and June bond?

“Don’t know how they expect us to bond in the current situation either. I don’t think we need to bond though, we’re brothers.”
“ I still don’t get why it’d be any of anyone else’s business any ways. And we are a good deal closer together than some siblings round here anyway. ”
“I fully dare people to keep making jokes about my arm. Keep it up, see what happens.”
“ Is there anyone really stupid enough to try that still ? ” Trip asked with a bit of a laugh, followed by a bit of a wince as his insides still hurt.
Trip glanced up, brow furrowed, when Urie slid slightly but soon shrugged it off and turned back to the worn pages grasped in his hand. He just hoped the other boy hadn’t hurt himself in anyway but he was as of yet unable to properly express concern for others so he didn’t. He did offer the kid a light shrug in return to the apologetic look to convey that it wasn’t a problem.
Urie came back just a minute later with a tray for Trip, and a note. The entire time he tried to casually stare at the other without being obvious. He looked around for a moment, his mother was in the back engrossed in her entertainment while Uma was nowhere to be found, so when he sat the tray down he also gave him the small scrawled out note,’Are you the Legume that’s been missing?’
Trip accepted the tray with a small nod before noticing the scrap of paper the other was sliding towards him. Picking it up and then reading it he turned towards the other boy and nodded lightly. “ Yup. ”
He wondered just how many people knew about his apparent disappearance, the fact that anyone besides his brothers and a couple close friends, and obviously Morgan, would even have noticed or paid attention to rumors was not a thing he’d previously considered a possibility.

“ Acrobatics. ”

“ I probably should, cuz my vision ain’t all that great but no. Unless you count sunglasses in which case yeah all the time. “

“ That’s a bit none of your business. But no, I’m gonna bunk over with Jessie’s dad. ”

“ Napping. ”

What do you think of your mother?
“ She’s a bit soft. But she tried, so I try to think positively of her. It’s hard though. I know she’s no better off then the rest of us in that place. ”
If you could go anywhere in Auradon, where would you travel to?
“ Whatever there transportation hub is so I can get right back out and travel somewhere that doesn’t condemn innocent children for the crimes of their parents. Unless they have an observatory then I’d stop there first. ”

Working in his mother’s shops had it’s ups and downs. Urie could use the conversation-free time to plot his next story out or contemplate the latest plot-twist in whatever book he was reading. Urie could make do with the time he had, which was a lot. Some days could be better than other days. Some days his mom flipped out on him, some days she didn’t. Some days Urie was passive and easily pushed over, and some days he was pushed over an edge.
Today was not one of the better days. When tipped over the invisible edge Urie felt like shouting. Of course, with no voice to shout with, it usually resulted in an attitude people who frequented the restaurant ‘didn’t appreciate’.
So, here he was, food stained on the back of his shirt (ammo from one of the aforementioned customers) and a limp noodle hanging off his hair. With a sigh he plucked the noodle and threw it over his shoulder in the vague direction of the group of culprits as they left.
He didn’t bother getting the stain of…whatever that was off the back of his shirt. He also didn’t cleanup the mess they’d made, what was the point?
Urie held up his sign that asked customers for their order to the next person he saw, not paying attention to who it was.
“ Literally whatever you have, I’m half dead of hunger, ” Trip responded. Probably he shouldn’t be spending meager savings on a meal at Ursula’s place, but he felt it might be a nice way to semi-celebrate leaving his dad’s place. He should be scavenging from piles of refuse looking for scraps. But that could wait til tomorrow.
“ And take your time. I ain’t going anywhere anytime soon. ” He sat back in his chair, relaxing. It actually felt good to be back amongst humans after his weeks of near isolation and he wasn’t generally an overly social type. Not really. All that was just for appearances, ones he no longer felt obligated to uphold.
Hell, he was even going to pull out the dog-eared half book that he’d been working on and read it. In public. It was a shame that three chapters in the middle were totally missing but it seemed like a nice story nonetheless.
"Hey bro!"
“ Heya, Gilster ! What’s shakin’ ? ”
“Nothing. Why, are you shakin’? ‘Cause that doesn’t sound good. You know maybe you should go see a doctor. You know there are some on the Isle now.”
“ Not that type of shakin’, bud. Just meant how ya doing ? And I wouldn’t go to a doctor over something as paltry as shakes. ”
"Hey bro!"
“ Heya, Gilster ! What’s shakin’ ? ”
“ No. I spent all my time at my dad’s learning what limbs shouldn’t look or feel like. And excuse me I didn’t mean to wound your apparently quite fragile ego. ”
Least favorite thing about that isle?
“ Pretty much everything ( except my brothers and boyfriend ) sucks exponentially. ”
How's life treating you?
“ Not very well, if I’m to be blatantly honest. ”
