Wait who ME!? Hoo boy...( °⌔° ) -Vence, the rito swordsman

((HEYO!!!!!!!! First ask blog I made, very much new to this. The blog runner is me aka @frisbeedog0-0! Started around March-April 2025 or somethin like that through finding ask blogs (shoutout to asktheritochampion!).

I decided on makin an ask blog for this character I adore dearly even if he's basically background character because vence is a lil easier to draw. I'm lookin forward to stepping into the community further my own way!

↓RULES I'LL UPDATE AS THIS BLOG GOES ALONG!↓

✦My version of Vence is a lil different from the cannon one. I got my own headcannons with this character (we weren't given a lot).

✧I won't always make drawings, but I can try :)! I make my art in google slides, which takes a while sadly.

✦May or may not be active a lot here on this blog from time to time. I'm doin this for fun, you could say it's a lil special side project!

✧If your ask isn't recieved, don't do two things. 1: Send the same thing again (unless if you need to change something) and 2: don't make a follow up message saying so. It's less likely I'll answer.

✦No slurs, harassment, or whatever. I won't answer anyways to them :|

✧ As of writing this (12/27/25 UPDATE), I've finished playing AOI! Still, I'll try to keep asks MOSTLY spoiler free of any events that happen story wise. ✦Okay with suggestive jokes, but NOT okay with full blown sexual stuff. (4/9/26 update)

Any thought about the other sages ?

I like them all but in different ways y'know? I've gotten the honor to spar with each of them as an instructor!

Agraston is... a force, but extremely calm and collected that it genuinely scares me featherless whenever we spar. Also, I still can't believe he actually went through with teaching Raph how to roll. My tailfeathers...

Qia can be hardheaded when it comes to her attitude and fighting style, but I think she has potential. She's been going through a lot since her father fell to an archfiend, but I see her going far now that the war is over. Rumor has it her and Caldan might date soon so who knows!

Ardi can seem distant at first but once you get to know her, she's actually one of the sweetest people I've met! Fierce and fast in battle yes, but again, a sympathetic leader! Still don't know what she meant by "I know what you are."

I never really got to speak much to Zelda, Mineru, or Rauru -- but when I could when I was around Raphica, they were wise leaders. They helped lead us through the whole war, which certainly isn't easy. When Zelda flew into the sky as a dragon... Raphica went quiet that day...

And for Raphica himself... I honestly can't ask for a better man to have known for a big part of my life. I've helped him, and he's helped me -- but it's been getting harder lately. Being an elder isn't easy even if the war has ended, but I'll still defend him with my life if I have to. I mean that.

Hi Vence!! I love your hat! (I know Calamo has complimented you on your hat before but I will say it again here!) Where did you get it? Anything cool about the hat you want to show us?

“Oh my hat? Aww I love it too! Calamo's right but it’s… a gift from my late ma. She gave it to me when I was just a fledgling as I entered training, where I first met Raph.

The thing is, before we settled in Hyrule, we were more nomadic than we are nowadays. I may be young, but I'm old enough to remember that stuff y'know? You could ask Pinnec for even more, but uh- back to the past.

Wasn't easy travelling as a tribe. Unpredictable weather, monsters, shades, and disease. My ma was one of several who passed during that time. I always carry this hat around with me to remember her, and that old tradition prior to Hyrule. 

It's been over a decade since then, and I'm just glad that under Raphica, we're doing a bit better. As much as I joke often, I really miss her...

I'm just glad I still have this hat, as well as the other warriors, my brother, pa, and of course, Raphica himself. My hat stays on well.⌣^⌣"

I supose the closest in similarity would be a 'Sage' as you say, like dear little Tulin - however, my divine talents are not simply genetic abilities passed down to me through blood - I actually had to work for them. Yes, I figured out a mastery of the winds through sheer dedication and passion alone. It is seen as really rather impressive.

Always a pleasure to meet a fan of mine, I'm sure it is terribly overwhelming for you to be in the presence of such greatness. Anyway....who are you?

Are you not aware of what such an act involves or means? Rito's don't just causally do that to one another. Both parties have to be incredibly close for them to even think about doing such a thing.
