i’m genuinely so fucking angry about she ra leaving netflix like i remember being fifteen crying bc i saw a lesbian in a kids show for the very first time it was so important to me. and i was like wow now children are gonna have the representation i didn’t get to have as a kid the world is healing! and now look they’re taking it away from us. it’s not like there’s a lot of queer representation in children’s media especially when it comes to lesbians so yes a show with a lesbian mc really IS that important it IS that serious. and also that’s the problem with shows and movies being only released on streaming platforms and not physically so as soon as a license ends or whatever they can just take it away so that’s great

She-Ra swords that I made myself! The season 5 sword (left) was made today, and the seasons 1-4 sword (right) was made a few years ago.

They’re made mainly from road/yard signs (the plastic-y cardboard ones) with wooden dowels for stability in the center. I put them together with hot glue and painted them with acrylic paint.

I don’t like or want AI.

I don’t want to use ChatGPT to help me write something. I would rather write it myself and create my own original product.

I don’t need an AI summary when googling something, especially when the information isn’t always right from the summary anyways.

I don’t want your website’s AI assistant to help me shop. I can do that on my own.

I don’t need an AI to read and summarize my emails and texts for me. I can read them on my own.

I don’t like those stupid AI TikTok filters that turn you into some character from a TV show.

If I were applying for a job, I don’t want an AI looking at my resume and auto-rejecting me because I don’t have certain buzzwords on it, especially when I’m qualified for the job.

Human work will always and forever be MILES better than anything an AI can produce. My mom has gotten laid off of her writing jobs multiple times because of the use of AI within the company making her job “obsolete” and that angers me beyond belief. It terrifies me that the kids/adults in high school and college are using AI to complete assignments and write essays instead of actually learning. That’s not helping anyone in the long run. So many people, especially creatives, are losing jobs and other opportunities due to AI and it makes me sick.

AI is a huge problem in our current society and, if we let it, will destroy it beyond repair.
